We also have a★ BBQ space for your convenience! (We also provide equipment for rent. We will charge you 4,000 yen after use. ) We have introduced a★ bioethanol heater for★ winter only. This accommodation is a private resort called "Private Resort Fuji", located in a villa area 11 minutes on foot from Lake Yamanaka, which was renovated by a designer in July 2024. A modern Japanese design house with a floor area of 115㎡, based on a 3LDK log house, When you go up to the second floor, you can see the large Mt. Fuji from the living room window, have a BBQ on the large balcony with Mt. Fuji in the background, and after enjoying the barrel sauna surrounded by trees, you can take a forest bath in the outdoor rest space. There is a large fire pit in the garden, and you can talk around the fire. Also, there is a high fence in the garden, so you don't have to worry about your dog running away if you bring it with you. Welcome to Richard Flavin's Washi House! Richard Flavin (1943–2020) was a Japanese paper artist originally from the US. He studied design in Boston and came to Japan in 1970. He later studied woodblock printing and developed a deep interest in the production of washi. He also cultivated the raw material for washi paper, paper mulberry. We invite those interested in washi paper and art to stay overnight and enjoy this space, reminiscent of a washi paper museum, including these unfinished areas.
