Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Watch the otters play and the boats sail past! 960 sq ft open plan apartment with great room, small well-equipped kitchen, propane fireplace, bedroom w/ comfy king bed & dressing area with sink, laundry room w/washer & dryer. There's a nook in the great room that houses a futon type full sized bed that can sleep two (smaller people or kids). The tall ceilings make it feel extra spacious and the windows let lots of light and views in.

Situated on 4 acres, our home is totally private, yet only a 3-minute drive to Ganges. Peaceful and tranquil, come here to relax after a full day of exploring.

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
