The Annexe is situated on a working organic dairy farm, nestled in the most idyllic part of Dorset; perfectly located for beaching, country pubbing or long walks in the rolling countryside that surrounds. Old Red Lion House in Market Town

A beautiful listed building located on a quiet lane in the centre of the pretty market town of Blandford Forum, offering the perfect place to explore Dorset or simply relax in one of the cosy sitting rooms and indulge in one of the house's many books. Plenty of board games and DVDs will keep the younger ones entertained or get outside to the nearby River Stour to spot otters and kingfishers (just a 5 minute walk from the house) or head in any direction to Dorset's spectacular countryside.

The self-contained space has 2 bedrooms (one with cot), a fully equipped kitchen for home cooking, and a shower room with washer and dryer. Enjoy the wood fire, private deck with grill, village shop and pubs. A peaceful home away from home to unwind and explore the charm of rural Dorset.

We are a gentle half hour stroll from Milton Abbey which is set in a magnificent Capability Brown landscape. We are also an easy trip (approximately 20 miles) from the spectacular Jurassic coast.

The Snug: Dorset hideaway

Retreat to the Snug in a central Dorset location. Short drive from here to most of Dorset’s famous beaches, pretty towns and historic sites. Guests have their own cabin in our garden with private access and a small outdoor seating area. The cabin has 1 cosy double bed, a shower room with wc and sink, small kitchen with plug-in hob, kettle and toaster as well as a fridge to store all you need for a weekend spent exploring and escaping the busyness of life. The beautifully presented lodge is light and spacious throughout with stunning views from the open plan living, dining, kitchen area. Doors open to large decked area for alfresco dining. A cosy wood burner is perfect for the cooler evenings and of course the real highlight is the luxurious hot tub to be enjoyed all year round!

The Coach House

An 18th Century Coach House which is an annex to the Old Vicarage, restored to a high standard to provide light and spacious first floor accommodation, access is through our ground floor home office. We use white cotton bed linen and towels, Neal's Yard products in the bathroom. New Bath Shower mixer. Heating is underfloor and the Coach House has a south facing aspect.
