  • A beautiful little bolt hole, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet. Would highly recommend.

  • Great place. Beautiful location

    Joe2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Such a stunning stay. The photos don’t do it justice! The lovely detail and cosy touches in this stay made our trip very special. Nice and quiet and exactly what a get away is made for. Nice small village with a local shop and The Fox Pub nearby which we did not need as we utilised the stay to have some delicious home cooked food with the fire on. Norwich city centre a 30 min drive, and coast places also only a 30 min drive. Overall lovely place to relax and so ideal for winter months. Want to visit again already!

    Chloe2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely retreat especially in the cold weather! A nice bottle of wine added a special touch on arrival and the log fire made it feel cosy. Just be careful when following directions straight from the Air BnB app as we ended up on a neighbours property instead at first

    Leanne2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and cosy! We loved our stay. Our pup enjoyed snuggling in his bed by the wood burner, when we finally got it going! (We’re townies!) Perfect little base for a couple of nights. Had dinner at The Fox the first night, nice food, staff were lovely, booking recommended, it’s only a 2 minute walk, there are paths but it was very dark and muddy so bring a torch! We had coffee and cake at Lyng Stores the following morning, we sat outside as dogs aren’t allowed in but it was a lovely sunny day and was nice to see locals coming in and out of the shop, felt like a little hub of the community, everyone was so friendly saying hello as they passed us. Would stay again, thanks for having us and for the bottle of wine

Discover a secret meadow and spend summers days in the heart of rural Norfolk with a thatched Iron Age round house as your living room with a Yurt as your bedroom. With wood burning stove and secluded location a perfect quirky retreat.
The most striking thing about the location is the Iron Age Round House, built in the traditional methods (but not all traditional materials!) set amongst living willow fences with a camp fire at its heart. Next to this is the yurt with the wood burning stove and bureau. There is gas cooking facilities in the Roundhouse and a large solar panel provides the electricity needs for running small items such as lighting and laptops, phone chargers etc.
The walks around this part of Rural Norfolk are beautiful. There is significant history to be found as Norfolk, and especially around here, Saxon Round Tower churches are common. Nearby Mattishall is also where the Mattishall Horde was discovered. Norwich is just 12 miles away and boasts an amazing Norman Castle and of course, Norwich Cathedral plus much much more.
  • Great experience!

    Nick2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful roundhouse and cosy yurt, hidden away in the grounds of a farmhouse.

    Simon2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Fun, cute, relaxing. An excellent space with plenty to do. Would definitely stay again.

    Mike2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great fun, we'd recommend this as something different from the usual. Very warm welcome, then we were left to it, just as we wanted. Basic facilities, but then you know that already right? If you're fine with that (and we were), then you'll love this!

    Manjit2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay, despite forgetting our bedding! Our lovely hosts supplied us with some. We will definitely return

    Hannah2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • What an experience. I spent two nights at the Yurt with my partner and it was the best choice ever. We needed an escape from the city life and finding ourselves around the fire, looking at shooting stars, waking up with birds, frogs and squirrels all around was absolutely amazing. I totally suggest it!

    Marta2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, lovely people! Had a great experience :)

    Lauren2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place and location - this was camping with comfort! The bed was lovely and comfortable, and even over the hottest August bank holiday weekend on record the yurt was a comfortable temperature until about 8.30 - 9am (much later than if we'd been camping!). Sitting around the campfire in the evening with the fairy lights twinkling away was simply magical. My husband wouldn't have chosen such a stay in a million years (he's definitely not a camper!) but he also enjoyed it.

  • We had a lovely stay at The Old Laundry! Mark and Hetty greeted us on arrival and showed us around. They were exceptionally helpful with recommendations ahead of time. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed - they even stocked the fridge with eggs and milk and bread and butter. So thoughtful! Even equipped with a toy wooden train set and games for our 4 year old! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. We hope to come back again soon!!

    Allison2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great and peaceful time here. Mark and Hetty are very thoughtful hosts. We cooked many big meals in their fully stocked kitchen. Cooking using their everhot was also super fun for slow cooked stews!

    Taylor2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Old Laundry is a wonderful place to rest and relax. The space is beautiful, warm, stylish, peaceful, and cozy. It was the perfect base from which to explore the local sights. Mark and Hetty were very friendly and helpful hosts who made delicious fresh bread and marmalade for breakfast and had excellent recommendations for places to explore and eat. I look forward to visiting again!

    Christine2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mark and Hetty were amazing hosts. They ensured they were there on our arrival, they had fresh bread waiting for us as well as homemade marmalade. They were available before our trip to give advice on local places to eat, as well as them having an online guide and a folder in the property. Such a lovely couple and a lovely place to stay. Look forward to going back. Faye & Tim

Enjoyed the log burner. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The local pub was great and they serve an outstanding steak pie.

Welcome to Little Dial, privately set behind former village pub in a rural community. Little dial is a converted stable block off of the main house now offering an ideal base for exploring all that Norfolk has to offer. You will benefit from the use of a private patio from the bedroom with views of the garden.
We provide a welcome pack on arrival of fresh bread from a local baker, selection of preserves, tea, sugar, milk and coffee pods for the coffee machine.
The village has a great pub just a 30 second walk from the house. Also nearby is the village shop and delicatessen. Beautiful walks can be enjoyed along the River Wensum which passes by the village. The Wensum Way walk passes in front of the house and can be followed either to Gressenhall or Lenwade.
  • Had a great stay with our dog at the Little Dial. Great space with lots of character ( bigger than we was expecting) overlooking a beautiful garden. Located in a rural village with local walks nearby and about a 30min drive to the coast. Also right next to the village pub which served excellent food. Would recommend and stay again.

    Ben2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a first class place to stay, great location to visit the area and the local amenities like the pub and shop are a very short walk away. The prperty itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We only stayed 2 nights as we were attending the Fakenham Horse racing, we will certainly be back again when next in the area.

    Alan2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Location is so peaceful and seeing the resident white peacock is good for the soul. Beautifully decorated barn conversion with every amenity you could ask for. Communication and check-in/check-out was seamless. Only issue for us was that we didn't get to stay longer - next time!

    Joanne2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mark and Nelly’s place is absolutely incredible! You have everything you could ever need! The place is spectacular with lots of unique decor. Great place to relax and the village is cute and quaint. We loved walking to the church and down to the river We even got to see the white peacock! Mark and Nelly are the best hosts.

    Lara2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for the perfect location between the beaches and Norwich, this is the one for you. Half an hour either way making it perfect to get to where you need to go. The hosts couldn’t be better, welcoming you to their beautiful home, taking you to the local pub and educating you on the best places to go. You couldn’t feel more relaxed if you tried in this property and the calm village really brings you closer to the rural lifestyle. Plus, the dogs are a lovely bonus!

    Rebecca2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A superb accommodation, exactly what we were looking for. We would recommend this to anyone!

    Nick2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Little Dial. The space is beautiful and stylishly furnished, with everything you might need. It was spotlessly clean and really cosy, even in the middle of a huge storm! Mark and Nelly were great hosts and answered all our messages and questions immediately. Fantastic food at the Bell in Brisley, 15 minutes away. Thanks for the tip!

    Michela2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We would highly recommend a stay at Little Dial. Mark and Neil are perfect hosts, great comms, and five-star accommodation. The lovely touches such as fresh flowers, bread and milk were much appreciated and the stylish decor is warm and welcoming. Also, a meal at Darby’s is a must. A friendly pub 2 mins from the door, what more can you ask for! We will definitely be back soon!

In the heart of rural mid Norfolk, our recently refurbished, charming one bedroom annexe is perfect for couples. Set in a private walled courtyard garden with own entrance. Although only 2 miles from the market town of Dereham, with all its amenities, it is the ideal spot for unwinding after a busy day visiting Norwich (20 mins), the Broads (30 mins) or the North Norfolk coast (40mins). A truly magical setting for a short break.
Our secluded 300 year old farmhouse is set in 3 acres of paddocks and is home to ducks, chickens, sheep and our working cocker spaniel. We will provide a small welcome pack for our guests including some of our free range eggs.
Bird life abounds, we have visiting swallows, a kingfisher, woodpeckers, buzzards and more. In addition we are surrounded by wild roe deer and muntjacs. Willow Farm is encompassed by farm land and walking trails. This is a peaceful, tucked away property and yet we are only 4 mins drive from the shops and supermarkets.
  • Such a beautiful place to stay! Spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. Amazing location and lovely to wake up and see the chickens. What a lovely touch to get freshly baked scones and fresh farm eggs. I would highly recommend.

    Laura2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in the annexe. Sandra had given us clear directions of how to get there and left a thoughtful welcome pack with scones and some fresh eggs. Very peaceful surroundings, would highly recommend!

    Jennifer2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing little find. It’s sparkling clean and beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches like a proper coffee machine. Sandra adds her wow factor with fresh baked scones, homemade jam and some new-laid eggs. The whole place is peace and quiet away from the madding crowd. The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in within the UK. Would love to visit again soon.

    Mandy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for our needs. Lovely location but close to amenities Very comfortable, stylish accommodation with everything we needed.

    Joyce2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • I had the good fortune to spend 4 weeks staying here - this place is wonderful! Cosy, spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need plus a few thoughtful extras from Sandra. The location is great, so peaceful, and seeing the sheep and chickens every day is a definite bonus! Highly recommended

    Louise2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • The Willow Farm annex is a delightful little place to stay. The eggs and scones were a perfect welcome to the stay. Its cozy, comfortable and beat staying at a hotel any day

    Steph2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wow wow wow! So my boyfriend and I had the most amazing stay in the annexe, it was such relaxing and exciting time to be there (turned 22 as well!). Would definitely recommend, thanks so much Sandra for everything :D

    Kathryn2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We can’t praise Sandra enough. The annex was an ideal location for our stay, rural but very central to visit different parts of Norfolk. Sandra and Mark made us very welcome and were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is exactly how it looked in the pictures and was immaculate, well equipped and nothing had been over looked to make our stay a pleasurable one. There was a welcome pack of home-made scones (very tasty), home-made jam and butter which were absolutely lovely and fresh eggs from the farm hens, milk, a selection of teas and coffees plus other essentials. We also got to meet the resident sheep. We had our own private garden which was full of flowers and enclosed ideal for sitting out and watching the evening sun go down and birds flitting in and out. A detailed information folder with everything you could want to know from local places to eat or shop to emergency details if needed, there was also a plentiful basket of information brochures of things to do. Sandra’s attention to detail was excellent and we would highly recommend a stay here to anyone wanting a first-class break. We will definitely be returning again in 2020. Thank you so much.

  • We have just returned home after our stay in the garden view room at The Papermakers Arms. The property is beautiful and we were made to feel extremely welcome by Wendy, Peter and Luna. Breakfast was a delicious experience, which was exactly what we needed the morning after a wedding at Hunters Hall, which is a 5 minute drive away. The recommended taxi service was great too. A+++++

  • This place is a gem. Good central location so you can explore most of Norfolk quite easily from here. The house itself is gorgeous. It was great to have our own sitting room and the bathroom was immaculate. Great facilities throughout and nice treats left out for us in the bedroom. Peter and Wendy have gone all out to make this homely and for their guests to feel at home. Their dog Luna is fun and friendly and we were made to feel so welcome by them all. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

Everything had been thought of so that our stay was as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Delicious wholesome breakfast too and kind help planning a lovely local walk. Thank you so much!

  • We chose to stay at the Papermakers Arms due to it's close proximity to our friends wedding reception and really just needed a place to lay our heads for a night. Well, what we did get was a truly lovely bed and breakfast experience in a beautiful house. Firstly, there was no problem with our slightly early arrival in order to change and get ready for the wedding. We were shown to our very comfortable room while our very helpful host not only found numbers for taxi's home but called all of the local options to get availability and prices, even giving them a star rating for helpfulness ! This gave us more time to try the local pub for a quick lunch (delicious hand cut chips and whitebait) and fortunately time to discover that my husband had picked up our 18 year old sons suit by mistake ! Skinny fit at Topman was not going to work !! Wendy came to the rescue as she picked out one of Steve's suits that was a good fit and we were on our way with a story to tell. All in all, fabulous hosts, amazing breakfast and luxurious room. So many thoughtful touches show this is going to be a hard place to book in the future ! What more could you ask for ? Well, knowing you got in quick before it's fully booked is a start.

  • Pete and Wendy (and Lunar) have been amazing hosts. This is probably the best Airbnb experience either of us have ever had, and we've stayed at many places over the years. They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The place is immaculate and decorated to an exceptionally high standard, they take great pride in their home and it felt like we had been staying at a country spa. Don't be put off by Lunar, she is very well trained and friendly, and she doesn't get the run of the guest areas of the home, so you wouldn't know she was there at all. The thoughtful little touches everywhere made us feel very welcome, they have really thought about what their guests would need, and we'll certainly look to stay with them again shortly. Location wise Swanton Morely is ideally located as an easy jump off point into all the exciting places and attractions Norfolk/East Anglia has to offer...a short distance to Norwich, the beautiful coast and the Broads. The local village pub, The Darby, was a treat as well after long days of exploring the area, with great food a decent selection of local ales and ciders. We look forward to coming back later in the year. Thanks for your excellent hospitality Pete, Wendy & Lunar.

  • A short night stay in Swanton Morley whilst exploring the area for a house to buy. Location is ideal for mid-Norfolk, with quick links out to the all parts of the area and an idealistic location to be based. Less than five minutes walk from the Very good pub, The Darby's, in the village where the food (and beer) are excellent Beautifully appointed accommodation, bedroom very spacious with a superbly comfortable bed and fab bathroom. Having the use of a lounge was a really bonus, providing a great space to unwind after a days house-hunting. Breakfast was both plentiful and tasty, I only experienced the continental but will be back soon and cooked breakfast will definitely be sampled. Peter and Wendy are brilliant hosts, Wendy in particular providing a wealth of local knowledge to support my property search. They provided a perfect balance of attentiveness, interaction and privacy, making the stay more like being part of the family than a bed & breakfast. Their dog, Luna, is gorgeous and totally well behaved and, from my perspective (being a dog owner), only added to the welcoming feel of the house. Looking to return soon, as the house search continues, and have no hesitation to stay with Peter & Wendy again.

  • A Little Touch of Luxury! What can I say? To begin, booking our room with Peter and his wife, Wendy, was simply a breeze. We were given all the necessary details and information, which was easy, straightforward and professional. Travelling from afar the country, almost polar opposites, we decided to book this Air BnB due to the great location it is set in. As our journey was quite lengthily, we explained to Peter that we may be arriving somewhat late. However, he assured us that it was not a problem. It was perfect for what we needed for our trip away, as we were attending a wedding the following day - a mere stone’s throw away from the property. Upon arrival, Peter greeted us at the door, and we were welcomed with open arms. Swiftly afterwards, we met Peter’s wife Wendy and the house companion Luna, the dog. Luna eagerly introduced herself, which is a wonderful addition for any animal lover, who should decide to visit here. I will note that Luna, was by no means a nuisance or hindrance for our stay; rather a wonderful, warm and friendly bonus! Following this Peter showed us around and was eager to cater for our needs, offering us a quick meal which he was willing to cook himself. Later on in the night, we joined Peter, Wendy and Luna to a nearby pub where we happily conversed over a large open log fire, that is built into the pub. We found this to be a charming and endearing gesture by the lovely couple. I can vouch for Peter and Wendy that the pictures for their home are accurate, but do not do the place enough justice. It HAS to be seen with your own eyes! The property is a beautiful, luxurious, elegant and homely abode, which will leave you feeling somewhat breathless. The subtle touches that Peter and Wendy put into our stay did not go unnoticed, and we were greatly appreciative of this. For breakfast, we chose to have the extra full English which was worth every penny. You may want to wear loose fitting attire, as we did not leave with rumbling stomachs, I can assure you! The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious - our favourite by choice had to be the granola/yoghurt which Wendy had carefully put together. Overall, I can certainly recommend this Air BnB to anyone who has interest in it. It exceeded our expectations beyond what we could have fathomed, and we would definitely come back for another visit as it would be a privilege. ★★★★★

My home is in a secluded area with access to a delightful river walk and the Gressenhall Museum which has many special events during the year. The Norfolk coast is within a short distance:- Walsingham (Catholic Pilgrimage Centre) is 25 minutes away with Wells and Holkham 15 minutes further on. Fakenham racecourse is ten miles away. Dereham's Mid-Norfolk Railway - offers steam and diesel trains plus the 'Polar Express'. The area is also local for Sandringham and the Thursford Christmas Show.
The bedroom is small but the bed is double size with drawers for clothes but limited hanging space. There is always tea and coffee available on request. The bathroom has a large shower, no bath.
It is a quiet village and the bungalow is in a cul-de-sac. It is a short distance to walk around the 'River Meadow' to enjoy the sights and sounds and the stars when it's dark.

  • Me and my brother stayed for a gaming night before his wedding. This place is a perfect little man/woman cave. It's got everything! I liked the fact the hosts were really flexible on check in we arrived around 6/7 which was great for us. We loved the fact that we were shown round and the cabin has all amenities needed including milk and cereal for snacking, it also had all the washing supplies for men and women which is great. The bed was super comfortable and the cabin is very nice and warm. The t.v. and sound system are great, it was amazing playing Luigi's mansion. This place is awesome the hosts are great and you'll definitely have a good time. Would go again in a heartbeat.

  • This accomadation was a little gem to find. The hosts were very quick to respond and extremely helpful.. The cabin is very welcoming and has a amazing Cinema sound which you can listen to as loud as you like .and with the choice of hundred of movies to watch its fantastic . The property does have a swimming pool which I'm sure in the summer is another great feature. The cabin itself is very clean and has all the amenities that you need. Will definitely be returning here .Highly recommend. 10/10

  • Great stay....it is better than the pictures and amazing value for money. Clean, fully equipped, comfortable bed, good shower. Swimming pool area is lovely and the grounds are so peaceful and expansive. Supermarkets are just 5 - 10 minutes down the road. 45 minutes to the best beach in the UK....Holkham!

  • The cabin , is a cosy and comfortable retreat. ( ideal for a couple travelling light )With all mod cons included. It’s location makes it convenient for many wildlife reserves as well as historic Norwich. In short , great hosts , in a great location. Give it a try ...

    Alan2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • The most fabulous hosts who have thought of absolutely everything!! From clear concise instructions on using the TV and stereo system in the cabin , to the stylish bathroom with plenty of mini goodies and the kitchen stocked with fresh milk, tea, coffee, cereals and biscuits. Nothing was too much trouble for Karen or Rob - they had a wonderful booklet of suggestions for places to eat out locally - definitely try the breakfasts in the square by Mattishall Church! And were extremely accommodating with offers of garden space, sun loungers by the swimming pool and the mist amazingly comfortable bed! The cabin turned out to be a real home from home and nothing like sleeping in a shed! Think more along the lines of James Bond! A stylish and contemporary gadget led zone creating a tranquil and luxurious experience! We loved it!!

A beautiful, newly built cottage featuring traditional oak beams and a double height kitchen/diner resembling a chapel. The glazed rear wall lets in plenty of light, while french doors open onto a charming patio – a sun trap where you can sit outside, weather permitting. Above the cosy living room are the bedroom and en suite shower, tucked under the rafters with sloping ceilings. Exposed oak beams, oak doors and stripped pine floors create a delightful fusion of traditional and modern design.
The double height kitchen/ dining room gives the cottage its unique atmosphere - expansive yet cosy, stylish yet welcoming.
Foulsham is a quiet village with a convenience store and a friendly pub serving excellent, reasonably priced food. Market day in the nearby town of Fakenham is on Thursday, when there is also an auction; the supermarkets are open every day (Morrison's is the place for petrol) and there's also a farmer's market on the last Sunday of each month. Foulsham is well situated for reaching Norwich, Kings Lynn, Holt and Wells next the sea, the gloriously unspoiled beaches of north Norfolk, stately homes like Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Halls and Norfolk's many fine churches which often have gilded angels on their ceilings. Please see my guidebook for suggestions.

  • Lovely cabin, well equipped, really easy to keep it warm during chilly weather. It was good to have a working kitchen and cook ourselves things rather than always having to go out. I appreciated the compost bin and recycling too - sometimes at Airbnbs I end up taking recycling home as it’s not an option.

    Olivia2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy cabin with fields and footpaths right next door for the dogs, nice setting. Everything needed was there well equipped. The host Gill was more than helpful and left breakfast food items for my use including yummy homemade bread. Comfy bed and brilliant shower. Will definitely return

Very private, clean, warm and the bonus of wildlife views in the field opposite (deer at sunset despite storm Dennis trying to blow them away - see below). Communication via messages from Jenny was fast and really helpful from initial booking to the time we left; even down to route recommendations to avoid storm damage on the drive to Bristley for a meal. Will definitely return, thank you Jenny and Alan.

The views at sunrise and dusk are beautiful to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate on the sofa from where you can see the the birds flying around. Jenny was extremely welcoming and her communication was above and beyond! Her recommendations were superb and we really enjoyed ourselves at The Brisley Bell, TheTeaPost cafe and the Chinese takeaway. The local area was a tranquil place to take a walk and say hello to the locals. Overall we are very pleased with our stay and it was worth every penny and more! Thank you to the Superhosts!

  • We just had the best weekend in The Hyde. I cannot fault the experience. Jenny was completely fabulous leading up to and during our stay, the location was amazing, and Jenny assisted with helpful recommendations of where to eat and we thoroughly enjoyed the places she suggested we try. We arrived in the dark, so waking up to the view was overwhelming. The space was so cosy, clean and stylish, it was like the world just stopped, perfectly, for the weekend. Besides the fab location and little personal touches, meeting Jenny was a real highlight, what a wonderful woman. Would absolutely love to go back again and maybe spend longer in this beautiful hideaway! Thanks so much Jenny and Alan for having us and making us feel so very welcome x

  • Valerie and her husband could not have been better hosts; nothing was too much trouble and they were full of interesting ideas and recommendations. The cottage is a delight; very well equipped and everything is high quality. The extras: fresh eggs from the local farm, homemade chutney, cake for us to have with our tea when we arrived, were all very much appreciated. We enjoyed local walks, a day in Norwich exploring the cobbled lanes, rounded off with one of the best meals I've ever had at the local pub. We loved Norfolk and will be back for a longer visit next time and will definitely stay in this charming cottage.

  • We really enjoyed our nights stay. Our 7 yr old thought it was amazing and Ted our fox terrier thought it was great too. The hut is located in a secluded field by a pub. The hut was really clean, as were the loos and shower at the pub. The pub landlord was really helpful. We had a lovely evening playing games and had a tasty dinner in the pub. The breakfast was good too. We hope to return for another nights stay soon.

  • Winnie (the hut) was very sweet. The inside was throughout and designed very well for a small area. Exceptionally clean and very peaceful. The toilet and shower was very clean and very spacious. Good in the pub Winnie is based on was great too.

  • We loved staying in Winnie and her being in a secluded paddock next door to a great pub was perfect. The pub shower and toilet facilities were great and just made staying in Winnie all the better. The bed in Winnie was very comfortable and our only concern was that we were both over 5.8" so stretching out was not possible but did not spoil our stay. Our weekend was very hot and the addition of a fan in the Hut was very welcome. Tea and coffee making facilities were great. Highly recommend visiting Castle Acre, a nearby medieval ruin and a great pub. Also in easy reach of the coast where we visited Brancaster, Blakeney and Wells and spent a lovely morning at Walsingham. Top spot.

  • A real gem of a place - Winnie is so comfortable and unique, and I loved every minute of my stay. The bathroom in the pub was clean, modern and accessible, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I can also recommend getting meals from the pub, they're well worth it. It is such a homely space and I was very sad to leave, so I will definitely be back!

    Catherine2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with my hsband, grandson and dog, Winnie is clean and cosy with thoughtful touches- water, tea & coffee. Set in a great location very quiet and peaceful but next to a lovely pub with great food and amenities. Great value and would definetly stay here again!!

    Yvette2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very quirky little space but fantastic, we squeezed in with my wife 2 years old and a new born sleeping in a bassinet just enough room and very cosy and comfy, the cabin is in a wonderful little orchard behind a lovely pub, evening meal and breakfast were both very good and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend a short stay here to anyone after something a bit different especially on a budget
