Tŷ Llawen is one of a group of 7 properties down a lane that used to make up the old Cwmwdig Farm. Each property is totally private and in its own grounds.
  • As billed. Lovely place to stay with great access to the coast. Well equipped and maintained. Lots of good guidance. Thank you!

  • This is a beautifully renovated house in a secluded location but close to many great spots. It is comfortable and generously equipped. Gary was a kind and responsive host.

  • The website doesn’t do it justice. The house is simply fantastic - everything you could want in a holiday home. Hosts are right on top of everything and a pleasure to deal with Can’t say any more

    Richard2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely house - exactly what we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

    Kerrie2019-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Gary’s place is a ‘top of the range’ ABnB, very spacious for large groups, spotlessly clean and ideally located for anyone walking the Pembrokeshire coastal path, or just want to chill with friends and family.

    Michael2018-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Stylish and well equipped house in a fantastic location. Perfect for a holiday with three generations.

    Steve2018-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location, relatively secluded, magnificent sea views with wonderful sun rises and sunsets. The property is extremely well-equipped for people that like to cook and entertain. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the garden is spacious. The whole property is well proportioned and well-suited to family/friends gatherings. Particular attention has been given to letting guests know how things work with useful but discrete information posted around the property. There is a plentiful supply of great games, DVDs and books so no need to bring your own!!! The caretaker also responded promptly when required for a minor problem. We would definitely recommend Ty Llawen and consider visiting again.

Historic stone building with large gothic style windows. The school opened in 1877 and closed in 1982. Ysgol fach is the former infants classroom attached to the main school house. Decorated with Annie Sloan chalk paint and some areas of Lime wash. Original flooring remains in the kitchen and in the lounge. We have used local providers for example; stair runner from Solva mill and bespoke stone wall with galvanised gate and railings created by Dinas Blacksmith Eifion Thomas.
Ysgol fach is attached to The Old School House built in 1877 . It is completely self contained . This was once the Head teachers teaching rooms for the youngest children . Entrance is private via a galvanised gate, stone wall and railings which make this a secure entrance for you and your family dog.
Carnhedryn is a small hamlet 3.5 miles from the centre of St Davids . We are situated on the main St Davids to Fishguard Road A487. At times there may be some background traffic noise. Take care when exiting the property as at times the A487 road can be busy .
  • Ysgol Fach is a beautiful place to stay. All the personal touches in the school house make it special. Everything you need is there and more. The dog welcome basket was amazing. Lyn is very welcoming. We stayed during Storm Dennis. It is the only place you would want to stay inside with a roaring fire and a bottle of wine rather than going out... until you run out of wine.

    Amy2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation was outstanding. We were met by the host who was very courteous and helpful. The welcome pack was an added bonus. The accommodation was out of this world and the attention to detail was incredible. The property was very cosy and we definitely go back again. I would highly recommend the Little School you will not be disappointed.!!🙂

    Paul2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We cannot recommend this place enough. The place is so clean, dog friendly and the provided equipment is more than enough for a home from home trip. The location is ideally placed to visit the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path at many points. The host left lovely unexpected touches that made us smile & feel extremely welcome. The dogs were also left lovely little surprises and have the use of a safe and secure field to have a good run. It was far, far more than we expected and we loved the place.

    Donna2019-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely weekend! Lyn was very helpful from when we booked to when we left! Her suggestions helped us determine places to visit, do outdoor activities, and eat. The house was in a great location and provided access to many towns within a 15-20 minute drive. She was very responsive with questions before and during our stay. Lyn was an excellent and friendly host! Not to mention that the house was very thoughtfully decorated and super cute! She added little touches like books containing the history of the home. Wish we could have spent more time there in addition to exploring Pembrokshire!

    Kim2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Really enjoyed our stay here! The house is beautiful and incredibly well located and Lyn is a great host.

    Charlotte2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was a special stay for us as Chris had been a pupil at Ysgol Fach primary school in the 1970s. The old school has been sympathetically transformed into a comfortable home and Lyn provided lots of lovely and welcome extras. Highly recommended and we will return.

    Nia2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lyn's a great host and her place is wonderfully decorated and comfortable. It's a great place to explore the nearby Pembrokeshire coast.

    Paul2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • It is a charming and remarkable place, perfectly clean, decorated with love and taste. Lynn is both extremely warm and discreet - we loved it!

  • How can I sum this trip up? Well above expectation - great experience - wonderfully clean and communication fantastic. The location was great and the house was fantastic. We had a superb experience and the house was sparkling clean. Nice loving touch as well in that the light was left on for our arrival in the evening. The house was great with everything you could want to have or need during your visit. There were towels, washing powder, dishwasher tabs and many more items. Some great local information and a welcome letter along with some Welch cakes which the kids absolutely loved and devoured without question. I can only recommend this place and we will hopefully be returning soon

    Croesgoch, United Kingdom

Croesgoch village is halfway between Fishguard (ferry to Rosslare, Ireland) and the small, cathedral city of St David's. From Seaview you're withinin easy reach of lovely pubs, walks and glorious sandy beaches with great swimming. The house is light and comfortably decorated. Caro offers a continental breakfast. The room has a beautifully comfortable kingsize bed with a small ensuite shower/bathroom. There is a quiet secluded garden. Croesgoch has a pub, The Artramont Arms, 100m from the house.
North Pembrokeshire has a rugged wild beauty. The light is extraordinary and the area, like Cornwall, has attracted many artists of all types. I'm a ceramic artist and potter with my studio at the house. Guests might like to learn to throw a pot! Although a mile back from the sea and coast path, everything is within easy reach. There is a bus stop 75m from the house.
Most people are familiar with the famous Pembrokeshire national park with its wonderful coast path. St David's is Britains smallest city with its beautiful cathedral. A favourite 'watering hole' The Sloop Inn, is to be found in Porthgain, the little harbour village just over a mile from Croesgoch. Nature lovers, walkers, cyclists and bird watchers will love this bit of Wales.
  • If there is anyhing you need, caroline can sort it.... :-)

*PLEASE NOTE OUR POSTCODE IS SA62 5JN* Seaview is on the A487 loop close to sheltered harbours and wonderful beaches. A great base for visiting St Davids and the rest of the stunning Pembrokeshire peninsula, it's just a 15 minute walk to the National Park boundary. It has a private back garden that is a beautiful place to sit, chill and admire the incredible sunsets. Conveniently situated less than a mile away from a well stocked mini-market/garage and an award winning seafood restaurant.
We hope you find everthing at Seaview that makes your stay in Pembrokeshire relaxing and memorable. The beds are comfy with lovely linens and we provide a bath and hand towel for each guest. Locally made Welsh blankets, vintage and handmade quilts are in the bedrooms for those cooler nights. We include a welcome/ information file which contains brochures and maps to local attractions, places of interest and restaurants in the area. We are also only 2 miles away from the wedding venue of Crug Glas and 10 miles from the Wolfcastle Country Hotel and Beauty and Wellness Spa. Highly recommended is the 'on the doorstep' Angharad's Health and Beauty Salon, being a 10 minute walk away. Seaview is our family home and we are glad to offer it to you for your trip. Please enjoy it and treat it kindly.
Rural without being isolated, the property is conveniently situated on the A487, an ancient pilgrim route that has existed for travellers of old as well as today's visitors to the area. It extends 5 miles west towards St Davids and 9 miles east towards Fishguard. The hamlet of 'Mesur y Dorth' means' loaf measure' in Welsh and it was here that tired medieval travellers would stop and take refreshment before finishing in St Davids. The measuring stone for the loaves is only a few yards from the house. We enjoy being part of a farming community and are surrounded by fields and sea views from the garden and two westerly upstairs bedroom windows. There is a convenient "sells everything" shop on the road to Fishguard at the hamlet of Square and Compass which is about a mile away.
  • We had a wonderful two weeks staying at Seaview. Debs and Zeman were great hosts and truly lovely people. We even took a boat trip with Zeman and were fortunate enough to see dolphins, porpoises, seals and Ganets. Even the teenagers with us were in awe! The lovingly decorated house had everything we needed and was in the ideal location for visiting Whitesands, St David’s, Solva, Porthgain, the Blue Lagoon and Fishguard and for cycling the country lanes. We would definitely return and would recommend anyone else wanting to explore the Pembrokeshire coast to stay in this ideally situated and comfortable home.

  • A lovely comfortable home

    Vivien2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage with attentive hosts. Lovely to arrive to supplies for breakfast. Great area - we loved cliff walks and runs, body boarding, swimming and exploring the beautiful coastal villages and pubs. Lots of good places to eat and drink - even with need for gluten free food. The coast path was a 20-30 minute walk from the door. We were very lucky and only had one rainy day out of 12 but the cottage was a great bolt hole for reading and relaxing. The garden is very peaceful and a suntrap too. A great family holiday.

Rolo's Retreat is a converted horse lorry parked on the secluded Llety farm, close to the national coastal path with expansive views of the Pembrokeshire country side. It is self catered and can accommodate up to 4 people. There is a double bed above the cab, galley kitchen, small dining table and living space with a pull out sofa bed. The toilet and large shower facilities are located nearby in the converted milking parlour.
Llety Farm is set back from the main Fishguard - St Davids road, via a private gravel road and therefore feels very secluded. The farm itself has retired and turned into a B&B, although we do have a few sheep, chickens and a friendly dog! Rolo's Retreat is set in a small grassy area which is for sole use of the lorry guests. It has a picnic bench and fire pit, along with a hanging pan if you want to try cooking over an open fire! The milking parlour is a communal area shared with other campers, although there is a private fridge for Rolo's Retreat. The lorry is off grid and has a small solar panel to run the lights and usb charging points.
Our farm is down a track away from all roads. It is very quiet with fabulous views all around. You can watch the swallows swoop down across the fields.
  • Rolo’s retreat is a little piece of paradise in an area of outstanding beauty! With nothing but fields for as far as the eye can see and St David’s no more than a 5 minutes drive away, this cleverly converted horse box offers all of the amenities needed to relax and rewind off grid, allowing you to really get away from it all without being more than a stones throw away from the seaside - perfection! We stayed in December and still found the space cosy, warm and welcoming! We will definitely be back again :) Thanks so much!

    Hannah2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jacky and Ian are wonderful and considerate hosts who gave us a great welcome back to Llety Farm. The lorry is the perfect quiet retreat with everything you need and lovely stylish touches and privacy, as well as beautiful sunsets and starry nights, complete with the soft beam of the lighthouse sweeping across the sky! A great base from which to explore the stunning scenery and coastline.

    Nathan2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Rolo's Retreat is quirky and great fun. The little horse box is well equipped and beautifully finished and the 3 of us plus our dog were very comfy in there! We weren't brave enough to use the outdoor shower! But the shower, toilet and extra space you have in the milking parlour are all great! Jacky and Ian are lovely and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is also really good, just 10 minutes in the car to St David's and Solva.

    Jo2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Rolo’s Retreat is full of thoughtful touches and surprises. It is perfectly placed for exploring the stunning surrounding area, but equally a beautiful spot in its own right. It is thoughtfully hosted and we could not have asked for any more.

    Ben2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • I booked to stay at Rolo's Retreat as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday. We had a fab weekend, the horse lorry was very clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils and towels. We enjoyed the quiet space that it was set in, and the location was perfect for visiting Solva, St. David's and Porthgain. We had a lovely warm welcome from our hosts and felt very well looked after throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend Rolo's Retreat to anyone looking for an unusual and enjoyable place to stay while exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.

    Laura2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Jacky’s place. The horse box conversion is excellent and really well done. It was so lovely to wake up in such a quirky place and be able to enjoy the lovely surroundings and view. The milking parlour is also a great facility that certainly added to our comfort and enjoyment. Jacky and Ian were brilliant hosts. We hope to be back with some friends with tents to make the most of this lovely place.

    Thomas2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a fab place - lovely views from the paddock, the van is comfortable (especially the bed) and very cosy. Great to have the extra space in the milking parlour. Very well located and equidistant to St Davids, Solva and Porthgain. Jacky and Ian great hosts and very kind - we left with some delicious lemon cake.

  • Brilliant place and lovely hosts! Way better than the pictures.

  • Anne & Ben were great hosts, lots of advice and information on the local area and property which made it all a hassle free stay.

    Richard2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Swallow's Nest was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted an idyllic cosy weekend retreat. Beautiful rustic style; warm and cosy due not only to the underfloor heating and wood burning stove; and a gorgeous bathroom with separate shower and bath. Anne and Ben's property was ideal for a wet weekend away for two in November but I also think it would be equally suitable as a comfortable base for an active week away walking, cycling or surfing. Our weekend was perfect and I only wish we were able to stay for another night.

    Lewis2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • A great cottage, the location is so central to all the key places around the peninsula and the cottage itself is perfect. Beautifully renovated and so spacious. This is our second time here and by far the best cottage we've stayed in in the area.

    Andy2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Swallow's Nest provided a perfect haven for us to explore the St. Davids area. Anne and Ben are wonderful hosts, very quick to answer questions and have restored Swallow's Nest with considerable thought and care. We found its warm atmosphere a perfect respite from hectic travel. I highly recommend it and would love to return for a longer stay. We loved relaxing in the main room in the evening! And Jesse (the dog) is so cute and sweet!

    Caroline2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swallows Nest. It is deceptively spacious & very well presented & is a great location for exploring the area. We hope to return...

This property is close (10-15 minutes walk) to the famous beach of Abereiddy and the blue lagoon, where the red bull competition was held in 2016. It's ten minutes drive from the small city of St Davids. Family-friendly activities available locally. You’ll love this place because of the light, the people, the beaches and the coastal path walks and the chilled atmosphere. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids), surfers, cyclists, walkers. Enjoy Pembrokeshire!
We are LGBTQ+ friendly, everyone and every family are welcome!
  • This cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, warm and spacious. It met our needs perfectly. We were also blessed with nice weather for the time of year. It had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

  • Warm and comfortable house which I recommend

    James2018-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice and clean house. Fully equipped kitchen. Heather had even brought us milk for breakfast at our request. In addition, Welsh cake gave as a gift. We had only booked for one night and unfortunately did not meet Heather ourselves. But she always answered quickly and sent us a good route to the accommodation.

    Marie2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We all enjoyed Heather's place. It was very convenient and close to St. Davids.

    Ann2018-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful little house, super comfy beds, great communication from the host and lovely personal touches like welsh cakes and some milk in the fridge. Great location for access to st David’s and variety of beaches around there although we weren’t able to explore these due to the nature of our stay - first stop on a 400 mile cycle!

Grass-root glamping in Pembrokeshire - but don't let the pastoral setting fool you. Lottie is a well travelled lady having had many adventures driving across Europe as far as Budapest, and twice to Morocco.
Interior Lottie's interior is cosily clad inside with natural timber and an assortment of recycled & reclaimed shelves and storage. A log burner keeps things toasty in cooler months (along with well insulated walls) opposite which, is the cooking area and further back is somewhere to sit and relax - one side of which can be used as a child's bed. The double bed is over the driving cab at the front (all bedding is included). One of the dishes picked up in Morocco was the tagine, this is in the truck and comes from the very northern mountain range called the Rif. Cooking in this one-pot wonder dish is simple! Prepare your meat or vegetables according to the recipe, then on the metallic slip mat (important this is used) you can slowly heat the tagine clay dish above, feed in your oil, spice and ingredients accordingly and cook till potatoes soft, then turn off, leave lid on (dish will still cook as tagine is hot) and enjoy with bread or couscous. Outside Where possible we've kept in tune with the ethos of Lottie on site by pulling together recycled materials and made a small deck area with table and chairs. It's a peaceful space, ravens cronk as they fly over and it's perfect for watching the sun go down over the Pembrokeshire countryside.
  • Lottie the lorry is a perfect cosy and intimate escape - beautiful location and lovely finishing touches. And a bottle of wine with biscuits for our arrival - really thoughtful and great hosts. Thank you!

    Merry2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lottie the lorry is lovely. She was the perfect place to stay whilst I was visiting Pembrokshire and the location was perfect. Lottie has real personality and all the aminities you need. The washroom was in a separate building and a torch was thougtfully provided if you had to take a trip in the middle of the night! Great for stargazing here as its very dark and hardly any light pollution. Its a very quiet place and I was able to enjoy the peace and unwind. I shed a tear when I left and hope to return one day in the future. Highly recommended!

  • Won’t be disappointed

    Antony2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. Lovely views across the valley and the lorry itself is really fun. Well appointed inside and the stove makes it really toasty when it gets going. Comfy beds too, considering the pretty small space. Lovely and peaceful as well. Our boy thought it was a great adventure and we'll definitely be back.

    Barney2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • I was pleasantly surprised by how comfy Lottie the lorry was! The bed was big enough and comfortable too, we weren't too hot (despite the actual heatwave!) and we had a great stay! Great tips on where to eat nearby and lovely to hear Lottie's story. The location is perfect - away from main roads but hardly any distance into St David's. It was also surprisingly easy to find, despite being so secluded. We were the only people in the field so it was super quiet, and the facilities are just a few yards away and barely shared.

    Gemma2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a unique little lorry! Absolutely loved our time in lottie. So cosy and peaceful, in fact we liked it so much we stayed an extra night! St Davids is a lovely place to visit. Lots of lovely scenery and plenty of walking options. We walked the coat in Solva and it's was beautiful, I have some great photos! The hosts were lovely and kind. I really recommend a stay in lottie if you want to unwind and chill out!
