Come and experience the authentic rural idyll on the shores of Lake Päijänne in Sysmä! This unique old house has a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. It's easy to relax here with a larger group. The house has sleeping accommodations for up to 9 people. You have a kitchen for cooking, a spacious living room and three bedrooms. Plus, you'll have a large yard at your disposal. The traditional wood-fired sauna offers relaxing steam, and after the sauna you can dive straight into the clear waters of Lake Päijänne.

Outdoor terrain right in the backyard and a short distance to the ski slope in winter. In the wooden sauna, you can enjoy the warm steam and the fire burning in the fireplace in the living room. The sauna cabin is also pet-friendly and there is a large fenced area in the yard, so your pet can be safely outdoors.

The lake and the adjacent rapids area are popular with fishermen. The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Private cabin w/ sauna, patio, bikes, free parking

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

Relax and enjoy the nature in our beautiful villa by the clean lake Vesijako. The villa has modern comforts: drinking water, A/C, dishwasher and washing machine, sauna and hot tub with lakewater with lake views. Many Finnish design brands (Marimekko, Iittala, Fiskars, Balmuir) can be found in textiles and in kitchen. You can use a canoe, SUP boards and a rowing boat with an electric motor. Main cottage: living room, kitchen + 3 bedrooms and toilet, total 90 m2. There is also another cottage on the plot, with 4 separate beds upstairs. Modern kitchen equipment, including a dishwasher. The sauna building has a shower, an electric sauna and a small room. Large terrace in front of the sauna, which also has a wood-fired hot tub.
