My son and I had a fantastic time at Solange and Olivier. They welcome you to their home as if you are family. Olivier is a passionate wood artist, visit his studio so sure. Solange has a passion for snowshoeing and knows all the routes in and around the house and takes you happy to explore. The room is very spacious and has a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. A must for anyone who wants to enjoy peace and nature. There are plenty of options on up half an hour before the skiers among us. Definitely go skiing in St Anne la Condaminne. Cheap ski pass in a superb setting.

We had a great time with Selange, Olivier and cats! They helped us a lot with travelling, culture, gastronomy, and many more! They were always willing to help with everything and their help is priceless! The house was clean, beddings and towel in Alps style and they even manage to change small things to make the room romantic especially for us. Great eye for details! The water in the house is from the mountain river, as clean as it can be! The wood shop of Olivier is a must to visit! Great gifts and kitchen tools for reasonable prices made by the real master of wood. Thank you for the great time, breakfast, and your help. We really want to come back some day.

La struttura si trova in posizione ideale nel cuore di un piccolo villaggio con tutti i comfort necessari. Le piste da sci sono a 15 min (Praloup). L'accoglienza è stata piacevole. Mi raccomando.

Sophie was great and provided us very welcome. She was also very accomodating when we left. The view from the apartment is fantastic and the small village of St Catherine is lovely and quaint. Access to the Vars is easy. The apartment is easy going. We stayed with our 2 children sleeping in the room and the sofa bed is comfortable. The area is sufficient to spend a pleasant stay. The apartment is really well equipped and the games are valuable for beautiful evenings.

Apartment friendly but poorly soundproofed

I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Vars for a family of 2 children, very well equipped and very well located with the bus stop for visiting the slopes in 10 minutes and a beautiful view. Also thank you to Sophie for its hospitality and availability!

the flat is perfect for 5 people. the place has direct access to the ski slopes, and that was great. responsive host, great communication.

Apartment ideally located: on the slopes, in front of a supermarket and a ski rental place, with restaurants nearby. The apartment is ok even if one is a little 6 was cramped (there are 6 beds, 2 double bed that folds out in the living room). The host is very nice, respond to messages in a chrono minute and a guard who lives in the same building is open and free us the apartment when you want - this is great! As for the ski area, it is high and despite the weather (it has not snowed for a long time), there were artificial snow super quality on most tracks

Super séjour entre amis aux pieds des pistes de Vars :) Aucun problème pour l'accueil (même par un ami et non pas par moi en personne, quand on vient à plusieurs voitures c'est bien pratique en fonction des horaires et bouchons) Le gardien est bien arrangeant et toujours sur place Ne vous attendez pas à avoir chacun votre chambre, l'appartement n'est pas grand mais ca améliore la convivialité Si vous restez une semaine ne soyez pas plus de 4 Sur un week-end c'est très bien pour 6 Je reviendrais la saison prochaine :)

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le "fond d'alimentation" très bien fourni , même si nous n'avons utilisé que le sel et le sucre en poudre de celui-ci !L'appartement est très bien agencé , on y a mangé et dormi à 6 sans problèmes .Les explications et documentations fournies très claires , l'accueil des gardiens très sympathique , nous avons passé un très agréable week end , même la neige était au rendez vous pour skier convenablement !A recommander sans reserves .

Super séjour à Vars où l'appartement se situe juste en bas des pistes de ski. Accueil très chaleureux et logement très convivial pour un séjour entre amis !

Si vous chercher un logement calme, proche de tout, propre et agréablement décoré, louez celui de Caroline. Les caisses et remontées mécaniques sont à moins de 100m. Il doit y avoir 3 loueurs de matériel au pied de l'immeuble, ainsi qu'un boulanger, une supérette, un traiteur... Bref, il y a tout.

Studio très agréable et bien équipé, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes et situé à un endroit idéal à 2min en voiture des remontées mécaniques mais au calme, et près du départ de nombreuses Randonnées. Hôte très disponible et sympathique.

Apartment great, functional, clean, very well decorated. We were greeted by Marc very friendly and nice. Housing is on the slopes with a large basement storage. In summary the apartment is very good we stayed one week, the only negative for us was the single glazing that lets the sound of disco exits and traffic noise (not everything can be perfect), but otherwise I highly recommend this apartment and will be back for other ski holidays, see the summer.

We did not meet our host but she put us in touch with the concierge of the building, who is great and helpful. The apartment is small but not too small for a family of 4. It has a small grill oven and microwave, unfortunately no dish washer or internet but this is clearly indicated in the description so we knew that. One café/restaurant (Pizza Pasta) in Vars lets you use their WiFi if you buy a drink there but it's not advertised. You get a private box in the garage below for skis which is very handy. The apartment is very well placed in the small centre of Vars, on top of ski rental shops, close to a handful of shops and restaurants, opposite a small supermarket, and at 100m from the ski lifts. We like Vars a lot, even if it's a quite remote place, that takes a lot of time to get to. Sleep quality: Beds are good. The mattresses of the queen size bed are even much better quality than what you usually get in France. The apartment is on the first floor opposite a disco, but this only opened on Saturday that week (even though it was ski holiday high season), so we had only one night with some street noise from partygoers coming out of the disco. The rest of the week it was actually very quiet, for being in the center and partly overlooking the main road. The only other sound you will hear are the beeps of the snow ploughs clearing the parking lot in the morning. There's a rather long list of cleaning requirements when you leave, which is understandable, but it would be good to also offer an optional cleaning service.

We had very good telephone contact. On site we have been well received by Mark who answered our requests. The apartment is located near the ski lifts and shops, only downside a close enough nightclub with sometimes noisy morning outings. The apartment is comfortable, warm, ski cellar is â spatieuse, it is easy to park nearby.

nice apartment, cozy, quiet holiday in the heart of the mountain. Located near the Fontbonne chairlift, it gives easy access to the slopes for experienced skiers. However, our son entered the garden of the ski school ESF snow show the point of access was relatively easy walk, taking a lift in a higher building. To assist us travel in vars, we opted for the transport shuttle, whose stops are close to the residence. The concierge at your disposal if necessary.
