We had a lovely stay at Honeypot recently. Steve was a great host and made sure we were comfortable. He even helped my partner out by printing an important document while we were there. The cottage itself was clean and had everything for a few days away. Rattery itself is a serene place with lots of places to visit within easy reach. Would highly recommend.

Steve made us very welcome when we arrived and was always friendly and helpful during our stay. The accommodation was nicely presented, clean and comfortable and provided everything we required for our short stay, including milk and fresh eggs waiting for us in the fridge. This is a perfect location as not far from the main road so easy to get to but the village is rural and quiet. The village pub food is to be recommended, just a few steps up the road. A beautiful part of the country. We hope to return.

The Honeypot was everything we could have wanted for our Devon break, it was wonderfully comfortable, clean, private and peaceful. Accommodation of the very highest standard. Steve is a very thoughtful and generous host. He had provided all the basic needs, milk and home laid eggs, coffee, tea etc. Brilliant stay.

Steve is a friendly guy and was there to welcome me in. The place was clean and neat and as expected and is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Steve had even put fresh milk in the fridge!

We loved the Honeypot chalet which was clean and cosy with plenty of room for a couple. It's well equipped, in a private and peaceful situation on the smallholding. We really enjoyed getting to know the area which is beautiful and the coast is an easy drive away. We hope to come back as a week wasn't long enough to do everything and would definitely stay at the Honeypot again.

Our stay at the Honeypot cottage was such great experience. Steve and Jane are incredibly welcoming and kind. The honeypot cottage was very comfortable, private and had everything we needed, and more! We had a medical emergency that delayed us in getting to the cottage and Steve was very understanding and refunded us without hesitation. We were then able to come the week later and thankfully got to experience this magnificent part of England. The location is perfect and I cannot flaw our stay! We are very gratefull, thankyou Steve and Jane.

I would definately recommend staying in the Honeypot. The host was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. It was about 20/30 minute drive to Dartmoor and Dartmouth. We hired a boat on the river Dart and it was amazing. The Church House Inn is a short walk from here and has really nice food and friendly staff. Ideal for a couple or friends. Was a really sweet chalet on beautiful land. Book now!

Very warm and kind hosts. The cottage is located in a very secluded and beautiful area about 2.5 miles from Dartington. The cottage is large and comfortable and well supplied with essentials.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous - bright, light and spacious, but also warm and cosy when the fire was going. The setting was stunning, and so peaceful. Charlotte was an excellent host - she gave us plenty of information before we arrived with lots of tips for things to see and do, and provided us with milk, butter, eggs, bread etc. on arrival which was great.

My 10 year old son and I have a fantastic short break in Charlotte's lovely cottage. We were greeted to a friendly welcome and lots of goodies to enjoy during our stay. The location was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing, yet close to everything we wanted to do. My son enjoyed helping Charlotte with the ponies in the evenings and we spent the days at the beach and climbing on the moors. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about Rowan Cottage. Beautifully converted (contemporary design meet rural chic), charming, spacious, comfortable, cosy, quiet, incredibly well-equipped, very comfy bed and and very welcoming and helpful hosts. It was perfect and we would definitely return when wishing to stay near Dartington!

Such a beautiful cottage in a very quaint and peaceful location, we really enjoyed our stay. All the tips and advice which Charlotte sent prior to arrival were much appreciated and she offered a really warm welcome when we arrived (along with bread, brownies, wine and a host of other essentials in the fridge).

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location - perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all. Charlotte and Martin were brilliant, we couldn't have asked for better hosts and they had really thought of everything. Someone was always on hand if we needed anything and we felt very welcome. The cottage was clean, cosy and tastefully decorated, and features some great artwork by Charlotte. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed, from kitchen utensils and dishwasher to high chair and cot for our 8 month old baby. The location is incredibly special, completely secluded, you really feel like you're in the heart of the Devonshire countryside, especially with the babbling brook on the doorstep. And yet, close by, Dartington and Totnes offer everything you need for shops and eateries. Both lovely places to visit and some great places to eat for meat eaters and veggies also. Would highly recommend visiting Dartington Estate (Which is free!) and also the rare breeds farm in Totnes, especially if you have little ones. Oh, and the Church Inn at Rattery is fantastic, great food, lovely garden and beautiful walk there, only takes about 30mins. Only 30mins drive away are some great beaches, I can highly recommend Blackpool Sands - stunning location surrounded by woodland. Anyway, I could go on and on about how lovely this place is. BOOK BOOK BOOK! :)

A relaxing, peaceful stay in a lovely setting, the barn was perfect with everything you could want and more ! Liz was a laid back host, available if you wanted anything but if not left you to do your own thing!! Walks in the area were beautiful and we were lucky to have superb weather for walking in the moors every day. We would definitely recommend this property and hopefully we will get a chance to return to this wonderful part of Devon.

A lovely place to stay. The swimming pool was a great extra and the welcome pack was very kind. Everything was as described and well provided with excellent communication. Worth noting that it is quite a trip (at least 30 mins on the winding roads on sat Nav) from many of the beautiful seaside towns and beaches, but a very small inconvenience on what is otherwise a great house.

A beautiful barn set in the idyllic rural South Brent countryside. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing stay then Lisburne Barn is the place for you! Once again equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay plus an organic welcome pack, towels, even a cot for our baby.... lovely touches. Elizabeth is the perfect host, great communication and top tips for where to visit, FYI, the Devon steam train and Totnes Rare Breed Farm are a must for children, okay, and adults too! Sad to leave, thank you to Elizabeth for another wonderful stay!

Liz was a most friendly and welcoming host. The barn is very well equipped and the pool was a joy. The photos do not really do it justice. It's slightly off the beaten track which suited us very well, but might be a disadvantage for anyone wanting access to a lively nightlife. We were free to walk around the lovely grounds. We highly recommend this excellent holiday accommodation.

Nice accommodation (e.g. 4 poster bed) and good heating for a converted barn. But induction hob not great if you're planning serious cooking.

We were made feel welcome by some homemade scones, clotted cream and Jam, Teresa was extremely helpful with directions and advice, lots of information in the home to give us ideas of what to do whilst here, plenty to do and the manor was absolutely gorgeous. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole break.

We had an amazing weekend in this beautiful converted barn. It was perfect for a reunion of old friends with a lovely communal kitchen and lounge for relaxing evenings around the wood burning fire. The rooms are really comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Teresa is a delightful host and really helpful. Lots to do in the area. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Teresa made us feel very welcome, and everything in the barn was finished to a high spec. The decor was very tastefully completed and was very quiet and peaceful. I would happily stay again, should we have another wedding to attend in the area.

I stayed in this lovely cottage for eight days and found it very peaceful. It's a wonderful base from which to go on day trips to surrounding areas. I would recommend making the most of spending time outdoors, like walking in nearby country lanes and woods too.

The Woodland Retreat is a GREAT escape location, be it for a family holiday or as I used it, an alternative location for a business trip stay-over. The caravan is stunning appointed and super clean. Hidden away in a truly rural retreat, close enough to both Exeter and Plymouth burn also far enough away to truely "escape". Jeff was the perfect host - very prompt with his communication and always on-hand to help with questions. I would recommend this property without hesitation and plan to stay there again, on my next trip to the Southwest.

the caravan was comfortable, clean and had everything we could possibly need. Set in a scenic spot with a cornfield just outside and a view of distant hills beyond. Extremely helpful hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The mobile home was modern and spotlessly clean, set in a very peaceful country location, but close to local villages and towns. Jeff was kind and considerate and we had great communication throughout. I booked the mobile home for my folks and they loved the added extra touches left for them, it made them feel welcome. Jeff made up the twin room so their grand children could visit for a night, and they enjoyed the visit to Pennywell Farm the next day on the complimentary tickets. The mobile home is great value and I highly recommend.

This is a little quiet haven the van was brilliant and Jeff was great as were the other staff members of Pennywell Farm we met. Our girls loved the freedom of being able to run around the field and play games together. This is just the break we were after I'd definitely go back our week went so quickly. The van was really clean and well equipped and the free tickets to Pennywell farm were a nice touch as were the basics that were left for us (milk, fresh bread, tea, coffee, sugar and a couple of local soft drinks).

Jeff's place was in a quiet area in a clearing on the edge of a wood, near to Dartmoor. Whilst we were there we were the only guests so very private. Jeff made us very welcome with a few goodies and some tickets to the farm across the road which our daughter loved! The static had a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. There was also an outdoor picnic table ideal for a sunny afternoon tea! Jeff was easy to communicate with and tried to accommodate our requests. Many thanks Jeff, hope to see you again!

From the time I arrived to the time I left, Steph made me feel totally welcome. The village was very easy to find and the personalised 'Welcome Sally' sign out the front of the cottage on the day I arrived assured me that I had found the right house. Thanks Steph - that was lovely. Honeysuckle Cottage in Rattery is a lovely cottage and very handy to all attractions around the south of Devon. I had a lovely stay.

Steph was away when I stayed at Honeysuckle cottage, but Ben made me most welcome. I enjoyed his company and interesting discussions on a range of subjects of mutual interest. I told him of my quest for family history and he even accompanied me in a search of the Rattery graveyard for my ancestors! I loved Rattery, with its great pub and village community. I would like to visit again soon.

If you want a quiet time in a homely cottage, then Honeysuckle is a great place. Steph and her cat made me feel at home. It was a relaxing place to be and she was a thoughtful hostess especially when it came to providing delicious breakfasts and local information. As a writer I appreciated the quiet of another writer's home and similar tastes in food. We had The local pub does massive dinners. Airbnb seems to have a synchronistic aspect as we discovered we'd met a few years ago and have interests in common.

This is a gorgeous country cottage, in the loveliest village. I was made to feel so welcome and Steph was so keen to make sure everything was convenient and comfortable for me. Rattery itself is just gorgeous - fabulous old pub, beautiful church, stunning countryside, friendly locals, horses trotting by the front door, incredible starlit skies, no traffic noise, sweet little private garden, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in - complete silence in fact. Perfect retreat.

A lovely cottage in a lovely peaceful village. Steph wasn't there during my stay this time but as I'd stayed with her in the past I knew my way around. The cats, as on my last stay, where friendly and affectionate. I love the way they run down the road to greet me when I return late at night.

I was made to feel very welcome and well looked after, it was a joy to stay there.

Anna, the host, was very helpful prior to our arrival. She made sure that she had the correct number of adults and kids to be able to set the cabin up. The pictures of the cabin do not make justice. Its really quite specious. Anna had also 29 different types of tees, yes! We counted them!, fresh eggs , 3 different types of cereals, and the best was the fresh loft of bread. She has also make sure to put notes all over the cabin to guide the visitors. We really enjoyed staying there. One suggestion for Anna will be to provide better outside lighting and better set up the parking space. But... I acknowledge I live in the US. and that might be how its done in this region.

Sarina & I are proud to be the first to stay in this cosy yet spacious studio apartment. The hosts made us feel very at home providing freshly laid eggs every day along with lovely jams and other breakfast delights. The studio is at one end of a long garden allowing plenty of privacy & the studio itself was very eco-friendly. Lovely peaceful stay and only 10 mins drive from Totnes.

Anna was very friendly and helpful and provided excellent communication when asked questions. Unfortunately due to a late change in our plans we could not stay and had to leave shortly after arrival. However the studio is spacious and fresh eggs and bread were provided on arrival. The studio is located at the end of the long garden which gives lots of privacy. Thank you Anna & Alex.

Anna and Alex were excellent hosts. The communication before our stay was very good and they were really accommodating with our requests. Their home was beautiful, and they had thought of everything that you could possibly need, and more. Fresh eggs laid by their chickens, fresh bread, preserves, butter and milk in the fridge. Organic cereals and more flavours of tea than the Tesco tea aisle! It was such an amazing welcome and really demonstrated what lovely people they are. The house itself was very comfortable and we had a choice of beds and sleeping arrangements. We really didn't want to leave after one night and would love to come back and stay longer next time. We were just staying one night but the welcoming was amazing, Anna explain everything, the place is beautiful as the beding. I only can recommend Anna and the place and i will come back for sure.

The stay was lovely, the surrounding areas are beautiful to browse around most under 30 min drive. Host gave us a bottle of wine and scones which was a nice touch! The apartment is cosy and cute. However the bed I found wasn't comfortable unfortunately! The sofa was not a lot better either it kept sliding down to middle when me and my husband sat down. Overall it is ok for a short break.

The Swallows was absolutely lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed. Would recommend!

Good as a hub for Dartmoor Park, easy access to the moors and coastline of Devon. Has the essentials.

The Swallows was perfect for my trip to Devon, attending a course in Buckfastleigh. I was only 8 minutes away from the town, but it felt very peaceful. The kitchen is very well equipped, which was important as I cooked most nights. The apartment was clean and well decorated. The only downside was the WiFi didn't work, which was frustrating as I couldn't call my kids before school and just before bed. Sarah's husband did try to reset it, but it made no difference. After my long drive from the north east I was chuffed to find scones, jam and clotted cream in the fridge. Compared to others on my course who had just hired a room in a private house/pub, I think I did the right thing taking an entire appartment, as I never once experienced cabin fever! I didn't get to experience much of what the area had to offer, as I was on a course everyday, but even the rain couldn't take away the beauty of Harbourneford.

Kate runs a real bed and breakfast. We - two adults, one child - stayed in the room with the en suite bathroom, and we had a lovely stay. Kate and her family were very welcoming, and it was amazing to come down in the morning and have a healthy breakfast ready. The garden has plenty of space. You will definitely be in their house, but they leave the conservatory and den for guests; we sat & worked in the pool house because I hadn't realized they have a dog, and we happen to have allergies. Everything is exactly as she describes it, so read everything. They are close to the road, so you can hear it during the "rush hour" (cough), but mostly you can hear blackbirds. Our daughter had fun with their daughter, Kate, and the amazing short-eared rabbit. I found her through the Sandwell Farmhouse website and only wished I had booked directly through her, since airbnb is ruining cities across the world.

Kate is a fantastic and welcoming host, the property is stunning and the lovely bedrooms ensure you will have a very comfortable nights stay. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended, thanks again Kate.

We felt "at home"during our stay. The local town of Totnes is a joy to explore and the surrounding countryside delightful.

I visited Kate's place for the first time 3 years ago for a 3 day detox program, which was amazing. This time I stayed as a B&B guest. Kate is always friendly and there to help if you need anything. Room is very comfortable and specious with lovely touches like China cups for tea, handmade soaps, chandelier...I opted for a juice instead of breakfast, which was very energising. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were the luxury touches you don't get at your usual B&B. Around 10 minutes drive to town Totnes. Overall it is a great place to stay/escape and I know it won't be my last one!

The house is thoughtfully equipped and exactly as described but what the listing doesn't fully convey is the thoughtfulness of the host. A great base for exploring the beauty of Devon with stunning beaches, great local food and the wilderness of Dartmoor all within reach.

We had a great stay with Raminder, who was very welcoming and accommodating, as we also took our two dogs. The cottage is beautiful, very light and airy, and comfortable to stay in and is in a great location.

Cosy Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring Totnes and Dartmouth, and the beautiful Devon coast with sandy coves and beaches. We had a lovely and restorative stay.

We stayed at Raminder's cottage for a night while we went to a friends wedding nearby. Although we didn't meet Raminder ourselves, correspondence with Raminder was prompt and very friendly, she gave us good directions to find the house. The house itself is comfortable and homely, with lots of books. Our bed in the front room was very comfortable too!

Raminder's cottage is comfy and original. She made sure to give us all information necessary before our arrival and during our stay. The Cornish landscapes are really inspiring, lots of great walks to do near the house.

Although Doug's barn didn't meet our expectations, we had a nice weekend. Records collection is excellent.

We were greeted by Doug who showed us around. He was friendly. We had a quick hello from Claire but no other contact during our 2 night stay. The main bedroom had a super new mattress, making for a comfortable night's sleep. Access was tricky to the second bedroom.

The trip was amazing. We were a group of 5 friends meeting over Easter and we couldn't have picked a better place. The unique and gorgeous converted cabin was cosy and comfortable, and Doug and Claire were so helpful when we were deciding where to go and what to see in the area (but they were not at all intrusive). The cabin is located in a beautiful area, near the cool hippie town that is Totnes. We were also within driving distance of excellent beaches and Dartmoor - plenty of activities and sights to choose from. It was so nice to go back to Claire and Doug's converted cabin after long days. Always worth playing one of their cool records! We wish we could have stayed longer.

The location is fantastic. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The barn itself is quirky and our children loved the look of it. Only a short walk to some farm animals and a 10 minute drive to Totnes. Doug and Claire were always available to answer questions via phone and email. Unfortunately we were unable to meet them as they were away however, they had left detailed notes and we never felt like they left us.

Lovely house with so much character, really enjoyed relaxing and flicking through the brilliant selection of vinyl on offer. Recommend and will be going back.

Just returned home from the most beautiful weekend stay at Doug's place. The house was extremely cosy and everything we could have hoped for. We travelled down after work and arrived late so Doug ensured the lights were left on for us and parking was available right outside the house. It felt like a home away from home. The bathroom was beautiful with a lovely big bath and plenty of towels and the heaters kept the place lovely and toasty warm for us. The living space was spacious and beautiful- perfect for travelling couples, small groups or those with children as there is plenty of sleeping space. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept better than I do at home! Totnes is only a short 5 minute drive away and I would highly recommend it, as well as Bantham beach which is only a short drive away. There are so many beautiful sights in the surrounding area that are very accessible, as well as Plymouth and Cornwall which are stunning. If you like travelling you will never be short of things to do. Although we didn't get a chance to meet Doug as we were out all weekend exploring, he made sure he kept in touch and offered ideas of events happening locally. Would highly recommend both house and host to friends and family and would visit again in a heartbeat. Thanks Doug and Claire!

We had a fantastic time at this cottage. We were met by Annita who was very friendly and had written a list of ideas of things to entertain us and our toddlers in the area. There are loads of things to drive to in Devon and we could easily have spent more time here. Some of our best days were spent at the cottage, walking in the fields/ hills around it and also enjoying the gorgeous garden. We had some fab BBQs in the afternoon sun while the kids watered the garden, wandered the orchard and hunted bugs. The house itself is a very homely, cozy cottage. Big sofas, comfy beds, sociable kitchen/diner and an amazing shower. The neighbours are nice too and gave us some matches for the woodburning stove! Thoroughly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time staying at Barry's beautiful farm house in Devon. Barry was a superb host and made sure our stay was enjoyable. From insightful local knowledge to helpful instructions, communication with Barry was easy and informative. Once settled in we were left to enjoy the house, garden and cosy evenings by the fire by ourselves. Barry kept the communication light during our stay, offering assistance if it was needed. The house is perfectly situated for day trips to beautiful beaches, charming villages, Dartmoor and the nearby city of Plymouth. The large garden was a hit with all including our dog Bobi. The only shame was we spent so much time enjoying the local sights that we didn't spend enough time relaxing in the garden and at the house! We all enjoyed our time, helped by fantastic weather and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. We'll definitely return.

The house and garden are a little paradise! We have felt really good. Barry was a very attentive host and always available. We gladly would have stayed longer!

Hospitality was excellent. Barry wasn't around when we arrived, but he arranged for a friend to welcome us and show us around the place. When I contacted Barry initially, I told him that I suffer from dust allergy and so I can be rather intolerant of carpets (all bedrooms have carpets) and he arranged for the carpets to be vacuumed twice, which really helped. The garden is really big, large enough for kids to play different games at the same time. The house is very well equipped, with lots of games (e.g. badminton and board games. The kitchen could be cleaner though. The cottage is situated in a lovely area, with beautiful beaches reachable in under an hour and the excellent Riverford Farm shop and kitchen only 5 minutes away (by car).

"We stayed at the Hideaway Cottage for a week in August with four adults and three children between the ages of 4 and 8. The house itself was absolutely charming and contained all mod cons, apart from a dish washer. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean. By far the best point of this cottage is the beautiful garden, which is very large and well-kept. It contains a swing and there is plenty of room for playing football or badminton (balls and badminton sets are provided by the owner). The only thing we can fault is the fact that the kitchen and living room were not very clean, which would make the cottage less ideal for families with smaller children who crawl around. All in all, though, we rate this cottage high and would gladly return."

Barry was a great host with lots of communication beforehand and during our stay and was on hand if we needed anything. It's the perfect location as a base to explore this area of Devon. We spent most of the time on the various beaches on the South coast but when we were at the house our 3 children spent most of the time in the amazing garden exploring, playing football or badminton.The kitchen was well equipped and we found the beds very comfortable. We had a thoroughly relaxing time and would recommend a stay at the Hideaway.

Barry was a superb host, always on hand if anything was the matter. The residence was very clean and tidy and warm when we arrived on a cold winter evening. He only popped around once to make sure all was in order which was nice. The beds were comfortable, the shower hot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Totnes is a short drive away as is Dartmoor and Dartington. The Morrisons supermarket in Totnes is huge so you can get everything you need once you're there. I went with a small group of friends but this would also be a perfect place for a family country get away, especially in summer. You have to have a car if you're staying here though. It's blissfully remote and walking to the shops isn't really an option.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away in Barry's cottage. It truly felt a home away from home. We particularly liked playing badminton in the very beautiful garden, and couldn't resist stoking up a fire in the wood burning stove one evening. Everything we needed was provided in the house, and it's a great location from which to explore the rest of Devon. Definitely recommended.

We had a lovely time here! Stayed with another couple who are close friends and it's a great location to catch up with peace and quiet. We were in Devon for a wedding but stayed for longer to see the surrounding areas and would definitely return! The decor is lovely and I think this place is great value for money! Matt was very helpful and on hand for anything we needed but also gave us space to enjoy our weekend and the cabin! Thanks for a great stay

Amazing place to stay both inside with all the up cycled, handcrafted fittings and outside with the beautiful scenery. Matt was on hand when ever we needed anything, we will be back!

My wife and I spent a very relaxing weekend here with friends. Jamey is friendly, welcoming and had plenty of suggestions for things to do, see and eat in the local area. The "Hangout" is well positioned for both walking on Dartmoor or for getting to the coast. The surrounding area is pleasant/peaceful and the accommodation itself has plenty of character, is well equipped and comfortable.

The cabin was set in a nice peaceful location. I would recommend a car is required although we did venture out down country lanes and up into Dartmoor. We took our dog with us which was fantastic as he got to enjoy the country side and plenty of walks! One of the things I found disappointing was the cleanliness but nothing that a good Spring clean wouldn't fix. Jamey and Matt were very welcoming.

We had a really lovely stay, the place is beautiful and peaceful and we were all very happy to have been able to spend time there.

Great location & amazing Hangout. Feel far from home and the most relaxing place. This is the hangout you always dreamt of! Some great advice on stunning walks from Matt - try the one along the River Dart - awesome! Look out at the stars at night - there are loads more over the Hangout! Nearby: visit Ashburton. Breakfast at the Old Library - before 10.00 for this. Afternoon tea at Taylors - great value and cakes are wow. But cream tea is a must - share one and pay for an extra scone. We had 5 staying - one on the sofa but it is a massive, comfortable sofa. Cooked in first night - kitchen has all you need. Very warm - log burner was terrific - warmed bedrooms & living area. Parking steep - but fine unless you have a sports car. Beds comfortable - everyone slept long & well. Decor is inspiring - really fabulous and notice new things every time you walk back in through the door. Hosts: marvellous - thanks Matt - the best host and great ideas if you are new to the area as we were. We'll be back - soon I hope! And we are recommending it to friends & (URL HIDDEN) much better than a standard hotel or B&B...really, this is a memorable experience that you won't forget.

Absolutely loved our stay. The pictures don't really do the cabin justice, which is such a comfortable, quirky, and light-filled haven with views of the rolling Devon hills. Hosts Jamey and Matt we're very welcoming, easy to contact, and had a wealth of knowledge about stunning local walks. Our 3 month old baby appreciated the peace and quiet -- as did we! I highly recommend this air bnb.

It was perfect! On our trip through south england we stayed for 4 days at Flo's and George's house. We arrived later than expected due to heavy traffic but were still warmly welcomed by this lovely family and their dog. Their home is perfectly located for exploring the Dartmoor and the coast of Devon. The room has a comfy bed and a seperate bathroom. Flo and George gave us good tips what to see and do and were really great hosts. We had the most wonderful time and highly recommend staying at their house!

Flo and George are wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much; including giving us a lift to the wedding venue down the road. Lovely private room and bathroom, excellent value for money. Would recommend as a base for exploring everything South Devon has to off. Excellent.

This was a lovely home in a beautiful location. Flo and her family (including their friendly dog) were extremely welcoming and made my stay wonderful. A cup of tea on arrival and breakfast in the morning went down a treat. It was great value for money too. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay amazing home friendly family.

We have loved staying with Flo, George, Hebe, Gracie & Eric so much that we have booked in already for next year. It was a stones throw away from our friends who we had come to visit so was perfect as a rest stop for us location wise. The room/wing. The room was lovely and bright during the day and very clean and tidy. At night I have never been in a room so dark, we are used to street lights outside our bedroom window so this was bliss for us. The bed was extremely comfy, only negative thing for us was the pillows were a bit hard but we still slept amazingly! There was a separate toilet which has an awesome map of the uk on it. The bathroom was a lovely size with a big mirror, huge bath and power shower. There was also shaver charging points. The house is huge and accentric! I loved all the history about it and how much it feels like a home rather than a b&b! The breakfast was lovely, yummy home made bread, orange juice and blueberries and the best eggs I have ever had! We just want to say a massive thank you to Flo and her family for making us feel extremely welcome and at home. We can't wait to see you next year!

What a lovely place to stay! This the first Airbnb place we have booked, and we had a very positive experience. Flo and her family are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was very comfortable, and the breakfast we were served was delicious with super tasty homemade bread. We would definitely like to come back for future stays and would highly recommended to all.

The chalet was very homely and situated in the hosts back garden - although was very quiet and peaceful area. Initially there were some issues with the hot tub temperature and availability of kitchen utensils, but Olivia and Chris went out of their way to help us - and even supplied us with some olive oil. There was a fresh supply of wood every day for the wood burner which was very cosy especially as the weather wasn't great. In the end, an enjoyable weekend.

I booked this (very) late weekend getaway a couple of weeks ago. Being quite late in the day, the choice was narrowed down to a few options in/around the area. The big reason for selecting the "Chalet" was the "hot tub" feature. When enquired I was promptly told it wasn't working and some days notice was required for the same. I certainly didn't find this info prior to booking. Also, the facilities provided don't represent the reality for example it still mentions Breakfast which certainly isn't a part of the stay. The garden seemed a bit unkempt for my liking and there was certainly lots to be desired for from the bed mattress. Overall the place looked very clean but I couldn't help but notice a sense of dampness somewhere indoors. I'm not sure £235 for 2 night stays could justify my experience; it certainly left a bit to be desired for. I must say though that the hostess was very kind and helped me out with a couple of favours and highly respondent in terms of being in touch before and during the stay. I wish the comments are taken as they are against the property rather than her personal self. She was very kind.

Everything worked well. A perfect place, but a little problematic with the British small roads if you do not have a car. Fantastic scenery throughout the area. Olivia and Chris were very helpful. / Henrik

This was the ideal venue for us, near Beara Farm camping where more of our family were staying, Totnes, country walks and Riverford farm shop. The garden was peaceful and secluded and we enjoyed the hot tub. We were very lucky with the hot, dry weather, which possibly made all the difference - we wondered if it might be cold in the chalet at other times! For the 4 of us, plus baby it was fine for 3 nights, but the kitchen facilities would have been challenging for longer (no oven, washing machine or sieve/colander.). Take easy to slip on outdoor shoes to go in and out of the chalet, e.g. to the hot tub as shoes are not allowed in the sitting area.

This place is just outside Dartington. It's very rustic almost Scandinavian. The bedrooms aren't huge, but the central living area is very spacious, so plenty of room. Lovely view out to the garden and hills beyond. Hot tub is a massive bonus. Kitchen well equipped and generally feels very homely. Hosts very friendly but not intrusive. Thanks very much!

Loved our weekend in this picturesque corner of Devon, it's a serene and relaxing place that is a convenient 7min drive to Totnes and with some nice nearby walks. The hot tub is a great bonus : ) I'm sure we will be back.

A lovely hide away. A very well equipped chalet that can accommodate 6 people comfortably utilising the lounge space. It was surprisingly warm for the time of year we stayed and the wood burning stove burning for our arrival made for a welcoming stay. Positioned in a very convenient location in Dorset and would certainly go back and stay at the chalet, so much better for a small group of people to stay together as it has all you need to have a home away from home. The hosts were very helpful and even managed to get a doctor to call on by and tend to 1 of our party due to not feeling well.

The house is set in an idyllic location overseeing fields till the horizon. It is a very large, lovely and clean house. The kitchen is well-equipped; the living room is nicely decorated and very spacious. The bedrooms were all large with comfortable beds for a very good night's sleep. The backyard beyond the patio is big enough to play 5-a-side football! Katie was very responsive and accommodating with our requests. We had a fantastic time and will certainly stay here again when visiting this part of the country.

Lovely bungalow on a working farm. Wonderfully comfortable and so peaceful. There were eight of us for a family reunion in Woodleigh and this was just perfect. Very kindly left us a cake for arrival which was so kind. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
