First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are conveniently located on K-10 between Kansas City & Lawrence. Yet secluded enough that your view will be one of mostly nature. We have a fire pit and host a Christmas Carol bonfire each year. There are only 2 other houses in our area. The space is large enough a group of 8 women stayed for a retreat. We live upstairs above the Airbnb and are self-employed.
