It’s a beautifully renovated guest house right by the water. It has a lot of windows and nature light. The area is quiet and feels safe, and I would definitely choose to stay there in the future.

This rental is tops in value, cleanliness, hospitality, etc... Watching the sunrise over Lake Greenwood were spectacular. This guesthouse is a real find and I look forward to renting it again from Adam. Adam was an excellent host and provided all of the essentials we needed during our stay. Unfortunately we were so busy we didn’t take advantage of renting the pontoon, maybe the next time. Thanks again for a memorable stay.

This was mu first Airbnb experience and Margaret and her husband were fantastic and understanding. The rooms were like a mini apartment with a small sitting/living room, full bedroom and a bathroom off the small hall. It was sparkling clean, the bed was large and comfortable and the period furniture was as comfortable to sit on as to look at. Don't be afraid of their three small dogs. The dogs met me at the gate after work and walked me to my rooms. They looked so sad when I left. If you've ever in Greenwood SC, you'll be rewarded for choosing Margaret's place.

Another amazing stay- This is my fourth time staying here and always look to book here first whenever I visit SC. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and on hand if ever I need anything. The place is always clean and a really relaxing place to stay. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Greenwood then I strongly recommend staying here.

My boyfriend and I went here for a relaxing anniversary away from the city and had an amazing time! The place was super clean and had a beautiful view of the water! I hope we can go back when the weather is a bit nicer!

This is a large space with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and a beautiful lakefront view. One of the best AirBnB’s we have stayed at. Comfortable, roomy, great location.

If You want quiet country relaxation...this is the spot

This cabin exceeded l our expectations. It was a cold 2 days and my husband loved being able to keep a fire going in the fire place while we snuggled up in the cozy cabin and enjoyed time away from work. The cabin was adorable inside, the back porch was GREAT (loved the swing with the lights around it!), we loved being able to see the stars at night and catch the sunrise in the morning over the field. The pond was a perfect touch and the dogs loved running around the acres around the cabin. This was a perfect getaway and a short trip from Charleston. We will be back!

This is a nice, clean, roomy cabin and Michael is a great host. Rural setting but only minutes from town. Lots of land to play with the dogs and kids!

The fourth time we've rented the place. A family gathering my for Christmas. I an glad to have a large space for my dog to explore. She recognizes the place when we pull up to the gate. Though the West her was too warm for it, Michael had a good bit of wood available for the fireplace.

Great cabin in the country. Well stocked fishing pond in summer and big fireplace for winter. Our family has been here three times. A great place to chill.

This is exactly as advertised--clean, comfortable, and quiet. The separate entrance was incredibly convenient for my odd schedule. The main space is homey, and the bathroom is huge. It made for a much more peaceful stay than any hotel could offer. It will be at the top of my list for future stays in Greenwood.

It was a great stay!

The room was great, the bed was comfortable and it was nice having a tv with cable in the room. Rick made me feel at home and it was a good stay.

Bedroom was clean, had a nice TV plenty of drawer space for clothes. The house is close to either Ninety Six or Greenwood, SC and an excellent community to walk around in.

Just a wonderful experience! The house is quiet, private, and right on the water! We just thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It’s not the Biltmore but the price is just perfect for a lake weekend or week long getaway. I met the owner and he was absolutely the nicest man I have ever met with some great stories to tell. He’s done everything from skydiving to driving an NASCAR. I almost want to rent the place again just to hang out with him and hear a few more stories. Overall experience five out of five highly recommend.

Loved the house. Everything we needed was there. Beautiful location. Comfortable beds. Great amenities. Stale smoke smell was unpleasant and lighting in den and kitchen was way too dim. Trash in kitchen had not been emptied. We had a great time and everything else was perfect.

This was one of the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at ! It was spotless & such a peaceful environment from the lake view to the monarch butterflies that were in abundance. The location is the key amenity at Dan’s place. Waking up to sunrise on the lake is instantly calming. The location is exactly as described. Efficiency unit with nice, convenient touches on a gorgeous lake. We hope to be back in the summer. Dan is very friendly and a great host.

I enjoyed our stay, much better than getting a hotel. The place was spacious and clean. They had all the amenities we needed, so less packing in our part. Its right on the water with great views. I would highly recommend this place and if we are ever in that area again, I would repeat staying.

Beautiful lake property and the cozy one-large-room space had everything you'd need. Two of us stayed for one night and enjoyed the scenic outdoor area with a cocktail as the sun set. Would have been a great spot for morning coffee as well in warmer weather. Lots of brochures about the lake and town of Greenwood. The kitchen amenities were everything we needed. Dan was accommodating to our travel/arrival needs and was a pleasure to talk to for a few minutes as we arrived.

My family of 4 + baby stayed here for the night before heading to the off road park close by. We got in late, but the hosts made it very easy for us. The door was unlocked and guest house was warm! The place was very clean and comfortable . Perfect for a night’s stay. The view on the lake is beautiful! Next time we hope to come when it’s warmer and not raining so we can enjoy the lake and the outdoor fireplace. Highly recommend.

This rental has an amazing view from the unit, and especially from the deck. Our stay was in November, so we didn't get to fully take advantage of all the property has to offer, but this would be a great location to truly experience the lake lifestyle. Dan was a very welcoming and helpful host, providing is with local knowledge that made our stay more enjoyable and fulfilling.

This home was immaculate & had all the comforts of home. All of the personal touches were so very much appreciated. In our opinion, it was so much more than we expected. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Margie made sure we had all that we needed & was available if we had any questions. We felt that Margie went above & beyond what was expected & it didn't go unnoticed. This was our first time staying here, but it won't be our last good Lord willing & if it's available. We had perfect weather to sit outside & enjoy the lake from the swing & the dock. We've even talked about staying for a week during our vacation. This place was amazing and beautiful. My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and we caught fish and met some locals who are very nice. The place was well stocked and very clean. The owner is very nice lady and helpful. We liked it so much we extended are stay 4 more days.

When they say the house is full of antiques, it's a huge understatement. There are treasures everywhere! An experienced curator in textiles could give a tour for days, and there are examples of practically everything for the last century, and some earlier. Tatting? French hand sewing? Embroidery fine & rustic? It's there. And that's just textiles. Glass, china, dolls, toiletries... And everything has a story. I happened to stay while the Christmas decorations were up, and they are spectacular. If you're into Christmas, it would be worth the trip. John & Lenora and are incredible helpful and attentive.

A great place to stay. The couple had lots of local tips for where to go while I was in town, and since I was scouting a place to live even set me up with someone from their church who had some houses on the market.

John and Lenora are very welcoming. Location was great for us. Everything was as described. Their garden is lovely. Leave enough time to sit and enjoy ! Because they are antique collectors l feel families with children could be a little nervous ! Lastly great value for money!

Our family had a great time at their lake house. I loved all the SC flag decor even though we are from NC. The house is well stocked with plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, towels, pillows, etc. Jason was very responsive to any questions that we had. We plan to come back!!

Margaret went above and beyond to help my family celebrate our 14th anniversary. We had our 3 year old son with us and he had an absolute blast! Th bunk room was perfect for him and he loved all the toys, books and games. Him and daddy even caught his first fish! Margaret responded to questions quickly. We are already talking about going back in the spring!

Margaret’s place at the lake is so beautiful and spacious. Anyone that loves to fish, boat, paddle board, kayak or any water sports, it is such a perfect location and beautiful view of lake. The location was so convenient since it is a short trip to the foothills of the mountains. Margaret’s place is a great place to stay anytime of the year and Margaret is very hospitable and accommodating.

Margaret’s place was a perfect family getaway. Her response time was impeccable and she was very easy to work with especially check in times. The house was better than listed upon arrival. The master bedroom is very spacious, the kids room was quaint with plenty of games, and the two queen beds downstairs were perfect for additional sleeping. The fenced in backyard was really nice which led down to the covered boat house. The owner provides clean stored away cushions for all the outside chairs which made it very comfortable. The house is located in a small cove so there was not a lot of traffic in front of the dock and the amount of fish jumping was incredible (wish we would have brought our fishing poles). Our family had a lovely weekend and would highly recommend Margaret’s place.

Very nice rental

We had a great time at Ann's property, what a beautiful place. This basement apartment was bigger than I thought, it worked great for my wife and I. We truly enjoyed the separation of space, there's a door for the bedroom and one that divides the living room. My wife sleeps later than I do, so I got to just sit at the windows and enjoy the beautiful pond while I had breakfast & coffee. Thanks again Ann. David and Savina H.

I was in Greenwood for contract work. My schedule was continued. Ann accommodated my extended schedule. Lovely family, lovely place, very close to anything needed in town. Enough cooking options available without a full kitchen. Highly recommend.

Ann and her family were terrific hosts. I was in town for business. My stay was extended. Even though Ann was out of town, they made arrangements for me to stay at their place. A beautiful manicured farm home with dogs, cat, horses and even bee hives with a lovely lake as a view. Great pool table too! Easy quick access to town. Much thanks to Ann, her family and the pets!

This place is amazing!

This was our first time trying Airbnb and we were very happy with how convenient Ann made check in for us and how fantastic of a place this was to stay. Unfortunately we had some rain on 2 of the days we were there, but we were super happy we were waiting it out there as opposed to being stuck in a hotel room. It is a large livable space, private and with all the details make you feel at home.

We had a great stay! We had 7 adults and 2 children. We had everything we needed for a great weekend. Lots of thoughtful touches by Dawn. We’d live to come again.

Great place to stay with clean water to swim and boat in. Plenty of room for the family and the owners are quick to respond to questions. Kitchen had everything you can think of for cooking so we saved a lot of money by eating in. Convenient to a couple of local small diners as well. Will stay there again.

We had a very good time! We were welcomed with great hospitality and the house is very interesting, it is full of antiques and histories. We enjoyed spending time there and talking with John and Leonora.

Unique 125-year-old house. John and his wife were very gracious hosts, and we enjoyed their telling of the history of the house and their antique furnishings and decor. We fully enjoyed our stay. A couple cautions for future guests: We would not consider it a suitable place for small children, as there are breakable antiques in every room, but we enjoyed exploring them. The bathroom is pretty tight and could be an obstacle to mobility-challenged guests. The only tv is in the downstairs sitting area, which was not an issue for us. Overall a very good visit - clean, comfortable accommodations and an exceptional value.

The stars at night from the deck are a whole other unexpected gift. the pool and lake water temp were mid to high 80's, andthe State park beach is about 2 miles away as well so plan on swimming. what a great time. This condo is fantastic. We had just about anything a person needs to be comfortable. We traveled from NY and PA to SC for a family wedding and from the moment we arrived we felt right at home. After a long ride in the car it was nice to relax by the lake and watch the world go by. I give Derek high marks for prompt responses to my questions before we arrived. This has not always been my experience with airbnb hosts. Also, everything was as described or better ! Thanks for a great place to visit.

The condo is perfectly situated lake side with great sunrises and sunsets. Very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed including full size washer and dryer. Would to go back!

The place is beautiful. My husband and few other men in the family stayed here when they attended the Master’s. It is a drive to the Master’s but totally worth it to stay on the lake. It is so serene and had everything they needed. There are also several golf courses around too. Thank you Derek for the awesome place!
