I stayed in this apartment for 2 nights, Alessandra very kind and helpful despite a small problem in ceck in (my fault). spacious and in a good location, unique apartment flaw was the temperature of the apartment, when we arrived there were 9 degrees, the morning after the day of 12 and ceck out we were able to get the temperature to 16 degrees despite the radiators always go to the maximum. Temperature at hand was a pleasant stay.

The house is in a good location. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely I recommend it. Alessandra is very helpful. We stayed very well!

The best thing is that the apartment is very centrally located, which is important if you are going to Carrara, where most of the accommodations are on the coast. Inside it is comfortable with a spacious room. Perhaps the kitchen utensils is somewhat sparse.

Really beautiful, it's hard to find fault with the apartment or Alessandra. Her husband greeted us and was very helpful and friendly. We loved the room, it was the key a little rustic, very pretty and the bed is comfortable and big. Everything works as it should in the kitchen and the shower. Compared with investment, it is in the city center but it is very quiet and the train to Cinque Terre takes only about 25 minutes. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

We had a very nice and enjoyable stay in Alessandra's appartement. Comfortable and tidy. It's within walking distance to restaurants and and there is enough to do in the surrounding areas.

We had a nice vacation, 10 days in 2, the Mr. Anna has been very helpful and friendly but discreet atmosphere ... the house is in the historic center of Carrara is large and well cared for, clean and renovated with very good taste, it is equipped with all the amenities and everything in it It gives the impression of being new and just bought.

Anna has gone to great lengths to give us good advice, as we now unfortunately speak virtually no Italian and that communication was virtually no English somewhat difficult. Still closed the agreement with hands and feet. The apartment is beautiful to look exactly like the pictures, it is very classy and modern. At second we had an absolute space. We would therefore recommend this property repays!

Mrs. Anna was very friendly, kind and caring, welcoming us with fresh fruit and beverages. The apartment is centrally located, just steps from the Duomo di Carrara, equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. It is located in the ZTL area but the street parking Sacco and Vanzetti (surcharge) is nearby. quiet area (no traffic). Great for families.

The hospitality of Mrs. Anna was perfect, very helpful and smiling. The apartment is simply beautiful, in the historic center (100 meters from the Duomo di Carrara), very tastefully decorated with a marble floor of Carrara magnificent !!! The only question I had was about where to park the car saw the location as well in the center, but thanks to Mrs. Anna I never had trouble finding a parking free. Thanks for everything.

The apartment is located in an Italian neighborhood, right next to the main square, where there are cafes (very cheap coffee;)), restaurants and shops. Apartment was consistent with the description, big, clean, ready for us to arrive early to check in. Gopodarze very nice and helpful, a small problem is that they do not speak English, but still we managed to get along;) In Carrara we seemed to us that we were the only tourists, which is a big plus. To the beach you have to drive about 15 minutes. Be sure you can visit the town near Carrara, like Pisa, Seravezza hidden places for bathing and beautiful Cinque Terre! Recommended! ;)

I stayed there for one night. Valentina was a really good host. She picked me up from the train station in the morning and she also had a place for my bike. Additionally she helped me with the laundry and offered me Pizza for Dinner. The communication was good and the place Clean an directly in the Center!

Wonderful experience. Even though we booked our stay last minute, Verena and her husband were very kind and responsive host. Verena provided us with great directions and helped us find parking. We even found a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The apartment, in this charming village is perfect for 2-3 people. Lovely decorated and very comfortable and cozy. We had a great experience and I would definitively recommend staying in this lovely place.

The apartment is truly amazing, and the village is such a peaceful haven. We really enjoyed the space, the art pieces in every corners and the great views from the different windows. If you want something away from the buzzing coastline, but still being pretty close to it, this is your spot! Verena and her family are adorable and can recommend a lot to fully explore the region.

Another superb stay with Verena at the foot of the marble mountains and 15 minutes from the beach. The village is very quiet and relaxing, and very friendly people. I highly recommend (and I probably will go back again next year ...)

Verena's apartment is a rustic retreat nestled in a tiny Tuscan village in the hills above Carrara. Verena was kind enough to transport us to and from the train station, which was a good thing because we wouldn't have found it otherwise. For those coming by car the narrow, twisting streets of Bedizzano don't allow for parking beyond the town square. The apartment is very spacious; you can see the marble quarries from one window, and in the evening can hear a stream in the gorge below the bedroom window. The kitchen has a gas stove, apartment size fridge and most cooking utensils. The kitchen sink has cold water only. The apartment is heated with a combination of (noisy) pellet stove, electric, and gas heaters. There is a small but well-stocked grocery store a few steps from the house, and another around a few corners. These stores open at alternate times, a practice unfamiliar to North Americans. The town also has a bakery open 8am - 1pm. We found the locally made cheeses and meats exceptional. Getting into Carrara by city bus is easy and inexpensive, if a little infrequent. Bus tickets can be bought at one of the grocery stores. Carrara boasts two very good museums: the Marble Museum and the Center for Plastic Arts (the contemporary art museum). We would have liked to visit the marble quarries but found the tours didn't run the days we were there in the off season, and it was difficult getting information about the tours through the internet. Verena and all of the people we encountered in Bedizzano and Carrara were kind and welcoming. If you want to step a little bit back in time and experience a less hurried, if perhaps slightly more primitive existence in an authentic Tuscan village, Ballitu is for you.

Ballitu is an incredible place, in a wonderful Italian village as we all would like to visit! Also, Verena is the nicest host i've ever met. I would definitely recommend this place!

So, the assessment is very easy for me, it was all so, as we had imagined and hoped for it. The location great, the rest super, 4 km away in the old town of Carrara. The apartment has an enormous charm, is large and has everything one needs. Verena is as a human being as well as a host hard to beat. We will be back. Rating of course applies for the whole family

Verena is an incredibly kind, intelligent, warm and gracious host. She is also a brilliant artist. She has a beautiful family who generously welcomed me to their home. Everything about the stay was beyond my wildest dreams. I think the time I spent with Verena will stay with me forever.

We had a great time in this dwelling that is very comfortable. The village is very pretty and picturesque, which is also that it is difficult to park! Small flat, the view from the terrace is not worth the pictures.

Ilaria made us feel welkom the minute we arrived, allthough we arrived late in the evening. The appartment is clean and private, situated in a free standing house, on the ground floor on the street site in a little village on a mountain about 25 minutes drive from the sea. We had a pleasant stay. If you like a peacefull place this can be it.

The reception given by Alessandro was above my expectations. From the initial phone contact, the owner turned out to be kind, helpful and attentive to the needs of my family. The house was a surprise because the description and pictures do not do justice to a newly built apartment, spacious, bright, well furnished. All spaces were immaculate, highly ordered and comfortable. The house was equipped with all the comforts needed to stay in the apartment (availability of dishes, towels, linens, soaps, etc.). Alexander also was very flexible with times of ceck ceck in and out (in truth it is fully adapted to our travel plans), especially if you consider that we started on Easter afternoon. The apartment is located in the city, in a quiet area, where there are no parking problems. The location is strategic, since it is a five minute drive from the sea (port, or 7/8 minutes of the first seaside resort) and about twenty minutes by car from the beautiful marble quarries (visited) and Fantiscritti colonnade, small jewel of the Apuan alps, not to be missed if you come to Carrara with the intention of visiting the places of interest.

We really enjoyed to stay at Alessandro´s place. Check in and check out was very uncomplicated and he was very flexible. The Apartment is very clean spacious and completly new. Around the place is everything you need. We used to drive by his bikes to the beach (10 min.)

Expect some misunderstandings for the check in (ensured 24h/24h in the announcement but we received pressures the day of check in) for the rest we spent a very great weekend at Alessandro's place and he was very flexible for the check out. Not far from the beach (10 minutes by bike, 5/7 by car), located in a quite area (not in the city centre) anyway well connected to main relevant attractions of the area. Recommended!

Alessandro and Giulia were gracious hyper in trying to cater to our every need, supporting us even during your stay with suggestions on where to eat and what to do. The apartment, clean, decorated with excellent taste and equipped with all comforts including appliances, private parking and a large balcony where you can have a quiet and pleasant breakfast, allowed us to spend four wonderful days! Back at home and feel "at home" it was a great feeling. Highly recommended!

Frarizio's place houses a beautiful collection of artworks and antiques. It has 2 spacious rooms and 2 bathrooms. It is located very close to a free parking lot. So I think it is an ideal place for 2 couples renting a car. What I loved the most is a living room with high quality audio. I enjoyed listening music in a cosy setting of the place. His recommendation of restaurant was also . We had one of our best meals there and the price was not expensive. If we have a chance to go Carrara, I will stay here again definitely!

Fabrizios apartment is amazing and very unique with tons of special decoration and flourishes. The kitchen was well equipped with kitchenware and some cooking staples. Carrara itself is very nice with lots of great italian bars for breakfast and drinks and some nice restaurants. The marble quarrys are amazing and it's not far to the coast or to some nice little villages in the mountains. Parking and shops are very close to the apartment. Fabrizio is a very nice host, always available for informations and tipps. Communication was fast and uncomplicated. The only negative thing might be that with so many things to do nearby and such great weather we couldn't spend as much time at home as this appartment would have deserved, so maybe we need to come back another time ;) This apartment comes very recommended if you want something special.

This was an exquisite airbnb experience. Fabrizio picked me up at the train station and was extremely welcoming. He showed me around the house, and even walked me around the neighborhood to show me where things were located. I loved this apartment so much; it is an exquisite place to stay. The listing is absolutely accurate. The neighborhood is also quite lovely and quiet. Carrara is small, and everything is absolutely accessible from where Fabrizio lives. There is a grocery store nearby, several restaurants, and few tiny shops.

I have a really nice experience in Fabrizio's place. The location is really convenient, he is very friendly and welcome and the house is amazing: big spaces, full of light and comfortable. Also I found the interior design is very unique and catching. I very enjoyed my time there.

We had a great experience! Andrea accompanied us to the house all the way from Carrara and took good care of us to show us everything. The house was beautiful, very clean and well equipped, there was all we needed. We really appreciated the wonderful view from the windows and also the garden, which is suited for dining outdoors. Overall we had a great time and would absolutely recommend the place to anyone!

Un formidable séjour dans un cadre des plus serein avec une vue envoutante sur les montagnes des marbres de Carrare. L'appartement qui dispose de ses propres jardin suspendus est aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et d'oeuvres d'art en céramique émaillée. Merci à Andréa et sa mère pour leur formidable accueil et leur disponibilité.

Andréa et sa femme nous ont chaleureusement accueillis, il y avait des boissons fraiches dans le frigidaire et de quoi se faire un petit déjeuner pour le lendemain. Une maison pleine de charme décorée avec beaucoup de gout et bien située dans le petit village de Fontia. Nous avons pu également apprécier la vue splendide sur les carrières depuis leurs fenêtres ainsi que leur jardin en terrasse, tout n'est qu'invitation à la contemplation et au repos !
