This accommodation is ideal for two couples, located at the limit of the Pyrenees and the Basque country, ideal for ski and hiking enthusiasts. The short duration of our stay did not allow us to discover the typical village.

2 days stay between sisters: we recommend this small independent cocoon in a calm and natural setting, where there is everything you need! The comfort of the place (equipped kitchen, washing machine, internet) allows you to stay much longer if you feel like it. Violette and her husband are lovely people, and they did not hesitate to come and guide us by car when we arrived when our GPS dropped us at the bottom of the village ... We really appreciated their kindness :-)

The house is as described and has numerous utensils. It is perfect for a family with two or even three children. The garden is independent. The town is very quiet and pleasant and has a supermarket nearby to make the purchase. A. Marie speaks very good Spanish. It does not have Wifi. In my case I barely had coverage. In short, we were very comfortable in the house and I recommend it.

Apartment is in beatuful small town of Accous. It has you need to pleasant time family, including garden. The host is very hospitable, lives very close and responds very fast. Highly recommended by me, my wife and our 2 kids!

Magnificent beauty, one of my best stays ever. The house itself is rather old school, but I did not mind, everything worked as it should and the spectacular surroundings was what I was after. Of course, it is a little isolated and you must beware of the wild nature around. Waking up to the sound of cowbells in the morning as well as Yves outstanding hospitality was also really nice. What an amazing tiny hide-away in nature from the modern world! We stayed two nights and had a great time. We’d suggest staying one or two nights, depending on your travel schedule. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to be in nature but does not want to do camping. There is a wonderful 4 hour loop hike that is good for teenagers and adults. You can arrange to pay for dinner, breakfast, and towels/linens — we definitely suggest having them cook dinners for you. Wonderful escape from modern life; such a joy!

Very pleasant night spent in a small setting perched in the valley of Aspe. Change of scenery guaranteed in this cottage in the middle of the woods with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Françoise and Claude are great hosts very attentive. It is highly advisable to take the dinner option with homemade dishes simply delicious.

Without a doubt the house has exceeded all our expectations in every way.

This place is bursting with character and is an amazingly beautiful and homely place to stay for a large family or many families! It is also the perfect place for children to play and spread out in the many rooms. We had fun playing hide and seek one night. The hosts left plenty of wood for us to make a lovely warm fire in the evenings and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. We will definitely be returning. Thoroughly recommended !

Very nice gîte, very well restored and equipped. You even took advantage for some to sleep in the attic arranged under the tents which are equipped with real beds inside therefore very comfortable. Ideal for a group of friends.

When you arrive in this village, you know that you will be calm, 25 minutes from the Somport pass. If you are staying in winter, small woods and logs will be at your disposal.

We had a great stay in Claude's house which we are delighted to have had the opportunity to meet. The house is perfect. It is obviously impeccable since it is a brand new construction but in addition it is ideally equipped (machines, accessories, products ...). We are at home! I will add that the location is perfect: quiet, beautiful views of the mountains and supermarket a few hundred meters. We have an excellent address in the Aspe valley that we can only recommend.

Claude’s place is perfectly located for outdoor pursuits. It is a modern house close to the village amenities, footpaths and the paragliding centre. The location is stunning. The house is modern and everything works to perfection. It is extremely well equipped and spotless. Claude was an excellent hostess who dealt with the fact that we were much later than expected with patience and kindness. She answered all our queries promptly and courteously. We would happily return and would recommend it highly to those who want to spend time in the mountains.

Danielle's house is fantastic, in stunning surroundings. We have spent the last week of June, in front of the Lescun circus, with a perfect location to do all the routes. Danielle was very kind and discreet and made us feel at home. The views far exceed the photos! In the village all the people are lovely. We will repeat without a doubt !!

It has been a wonderful stay, the views are priceless, it is pure nature. Lescun is a nice mountain village, there is a shop that has a bit of everything, two bars we found two farms where we bought cheese and eggs. In the Aspe Valley there are many villages to discover, in Bedous there is a super and gas station, among other things. Lescun is the beginning of many walking routes, Danielle controls the area and she advises you very well, kindly speaks in Spanish and is a very nice person. The house is very cute, has everything a little to get two people, there is no television or wiffi. I would definitely repeat it.

The apartment is sober and tastefully decorated it is very nice there is a terrace with breathtaking views of the mountains .. Danielle is very welcoming while remaining discreet. Lovely location for a couple, just above Lescun, we walked direct from the barn twice. The valley and town were perfect for walking and relaxing. Thank you Danielle for making our stay so enjoyable and for the google maps directions which meant we found you even in the pitch black as we arrived late. There is no TV which is actually great as you just have the mountains. Better than TV! We recommend bringing a few provisions as the local shop is not always open when you need it and a good book! We did get a mobile signal outside so was able to get email etc.

With my partner, we had a very pleasant stay with Thomas and Sophie. Their studio is very nice with a nice decoration. The bed is very comfortable.

A beautiful quiet place, the cottage is tastefully furnished, it feels like home. Paul cooked us his delicious vegetarian dishes. The valley is beautiful, the gr10 allows beautiful hikes.

Paul’s place was the perfect place to finish our trek in the Pyrenees. A clean cosy room in a beautiful old house, and delicious breakfast next day with fresh fruit from the garden. Paul made us feel welcome , made sure we had all we needed and pointed us in the right direction where to find a cold refreshing beer after a long day of walking. He is a great host and would definitely recommend his place without reservation.

Paul went out of his way to help us out and we learnt a lot about the area and its history from chatting to him. His place is a beautiful authentic old wooden house. His vegetarian dinner was delicious. Highly recommended!

Paul's home is absolutely charming and cozy--especially when you see it at night! We had a wonderful time exploring the area nearby--Paul suggested hikes and though we only had time for one, it was phenomenal. His home is situated next to the Pyrenees National Park so the mountains are visible from his home and Spain is only a short drive away. His home is also along a cheese route so make sure to stop and grab some--Paul has good recommendations for this. Paul is a great host and we had several interesting and illuminating conversations with him and the other guests staying there. We would highly recommend staying here--ideally for more than the one night we had!

I booked this room as the starting point of a hiking trip. Etsaut is easily accessible by train/bus from Pau, and this property is almost directly on thr GR10. Further, it's a very short distance from a cafe in town, making it a great place to start off a hike from. Paul is a fantastic host. The space is comfortable, quiet, and clean. I definitely would return the next time I'm coming through the area.

Nice studio with a lot of amenities (kitchen is very well furnished!!) Amazing location with free Parking across the street. Cute little area of Argelès-Gazost. Taking showers or using some of the kitchen appliances do require some head bending but you can quickly adapt. Views from the living room windows are magical! There’s some exclusions (no linen or towels included. You’re responsible to clean the place before you leave, so we are closer to the original concept or AirBnB than the modern version). Katy is very quick to respond and is very helpful. I would come back for sure :)

Very clean apartment with all the necessary equipment (fridge, microwave, toaster for sandwiches :) ....), very well located in the city center of Argelès-Gazost. Beware of people who are used to taking showers in a bathtub, as it is located under the attic roof, you will have to lower your head or just take a bath;)! Everything was perfect, we will return with pleasure for a new weekend of hikes!

An apartment "at the foot of the slopes" as we seek it everywhere! With a magnificent view and many amenities, Ulrich's apartment is perfect for having a good time in this winter resort. Remember to do your shopping before arriving at the station, and do not forget the earplugs if they announce wind during the night. I recommend !

Superb renovation for this old mill. Lots of kitchen utensils for this New Year's Eve. Very accommodating hosts. A haven of nature in peace. In short it was a very pleasant stay!

We had a great time at the Gite, it's nestled into a beautiful part of the valley and well situated for skiing, hiking and visiting the small towns in the area. The space was comfortable and included the amenities we needed. Earl was exceptionally responsive and was extremely friendly - we felt very much at home. We would definitely return for another stay (and hope to). We love our stay. The old mill is magnificent, well laid out and perfectly located. Our host, Earl is adorable and always ready to help us when needed. The mill is close to a bakery, grocery store, walking paths and ski slopes. We hope to return there one day and highly recommend it.

Superb mill in an idyllic setting. Close to several hiking trails. Perfect if you are several.

Gite very pretty and very well equipped. Perfect for a weekend with friends or family for 10 people. The living room and more is very valuable when there are many. The exteriors are very good too. We recommend!

Cecile gave us facilities with the arrival and departure times and welcomed us with a local cheese, thanks! The house is newly renovated and perfectly decorated, we will repeat for sure, it has a little garden that in summer you have to be great!
