As far as the eye can see, there is beautiful, green pre-Alpine countryside with meadows, mountains, and swimming lakes. In about 45 minutes, you can be in the high mountains, and Munich is about 50 miles away. It is about 7.5 miles to Füssen and Neuschwanstein. this vacation rental is not suitable for babies and small children.

On the outskirts of Peißenberg, you will stay in the spacious attic of a lovingly renovated former farmhouse. The large window front with balcony offers a wonderful view of the surrounding meadows and the pilgrimage church Maria Aich. Peißenberg is an ideal base for exploring the sights in the Pfaffenwinkel and Fünf-Seenland. City tours to the state capital Munich are also easy to undertake due to the good train connection also easy to do.

At the edge of the medieval old town, immediately at the historical city wall, our 4-room-apartment is located on the third floor of a luxurios old town art nouveau villa, which is under monumental protection. The villa was completely renovated in 2015. The villa is in the heart of Füssen, just a stone´s throw from the old town and Füssen´s main station. The bus station to Schloss Neuschwanstein is only meters away.
