On the 1250 m² fenced forest property there is a viewing area with a distant view of the Rhine plain, a patio made of old oak trunks and a picnic bench. The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area “Pfälzer Wald” with its popular managed huts. The Villa Ludwigshöhe, the Rietburg ruins, which can be reached on a romantic path with the Rietburg cable car, the wildlife sanctuary located there and a panoramic café are just some of the beautiful excursion destinations.

Beautifully located in the middle of nature is our horse farm in a secluded location, the Modenbacher Hof. In addition to horses, meadows and forest, we also have apartments. This friendly, sunny apartment with a small terrace invites families, couples and nature-loving people to spend time in the countryside. Whether forest, playground, wine road, vineyards or Palatinate villages and towns, everything is accessible on foot or with short journeys.

Holiday room with bathroom and separate entrance

Treat yourself to a little time out in our lovingly furnished vacation room. The room is located in the basement of our single-family house and with its 25 sqm has everything you need for a short stay. The room has its own entrance (not barrier-free) and is closed off from our living area. It is equipped with a double bed (160x200), desk, kitchen and seating area. Towels and hairdryer are in the private bathroom.

Romantic, historic winery

My accommodation is good for couples, families (with children), large groups and furry friends (pets). On a given occasion, I must point out that there is peace in the outdoor area from 10 p.m. onwards. This is not a party location but a romantic property to spend a nice weekend.
