Altar of the Mountains

This traditional Oaxacan house, that has four beds, was handcrafted by local artisans in exquisite adobe walls, a shading porch, furnishings and decor. It nestles in gardens of trees and blooming succulents. Guests enjoy multiple level terraces, hammocks, an outside dining area, a 22-meter lap pool and spectacular mountain views. We are in a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and have easy transportation to Oaxaca city (20 minutes). We offer tours to villages and archaeological sites.

Casa MaryFer is located 1.5 km from Oaxaca City's International Airport and 10.3 km from the city's Zócalo and Santo Domingo church. What sets it apart is that it is located in the tranquility of a picturesque village, as well as the friendliness of its people and their traditions. Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

We are located in Santa María del Tule, an ideal location for exploring Oaxaca (Ciclo Via, Ruta del Mezcal, and Tlacolula Valley), 20 minutes from the city center.

The Grandchildren's Cottage

Relax with the whole family in this accommodation where tranquility is breathed. The Retiro subdivision has the necessary services to be able to have a relaxing vacation. It is located 25 minutes from downtown Oaxaca. You can also go to the Tule tree in just 10 minutes, to Mitla in 30 minutes, to the capital of mezcal Matatlan in 35 minutes and to Hierve el agua in 45 minutes by car. The house's parking lot is for one car in front of the facade.
