The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international sports facilities and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport. Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar or Coburg are also worth a visit and are easily accessible.

There is also a large garden, parking in front of the house and more in the immediate vicinity. It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space.
