I inherited Godli from an old aunt about 25 years ago. The house is built around 1950 by a local carpenter who has also made many of the furniture. We have tried to keep the slightly retro atmosphere in the house. At the same time, we are constantly making new upgrades. The electrical installation on the 2nd floor has just been replaced. We use the house ourselves as a holiday home. The house is open and peaceful to the sea. There are nice places to swim just nearby, nice hiking terrain and a little half an hour to drive to Risør and Kragerø

Ramp in the entrance is suitable for a stroller or wheelchair. To Risør city center it is 3 km, a nice walk along the fjord. We live on the island of Barmen with bridge connection to the mainland. It is of course possible to drive here by car. In the area there are nice hiking trails. During the winter we often have ice on the fjord and then we can use kicks, skis or ice skating.

The cabin is located in a new and family friendly cabin field about 10 minutes car or boat ride away from Risør city center. There is a car road all the way to the cabin and parking space for four cars on the premises. Nice hiking areas nearby, e.g. coastal hiking trail into Risør city center and hiking trail to Fransåsen.
