Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.
