“Golshan’s place was an absolute dream. From the moment we walked in and smelled the soothing firewood to the last morning, when we finished up some of her great books, the overall experience may be the best we’ve ever had at an Air BnB. This place is a true oasis. Big windows, great books, a stellar view. If you’re looking to unplug and be in the moment, the Here & Now is the perfect spot. And we don’t use that word lightly. The bed was soft and the room nice and dark, the kitchen was big and well-equipped, the decor was thoughtful and — for us — deeply resonant. We share Golshan’s taste, from the Kehinde Wiley coffee table book to the 90s-centric DVD collection to the awesome little library of books. Even the Rumi poem in the bathroom is one of our favourites. The fireplace was an especially unique touch and made our winter getaway so deliciously cozy. My wife kept saying things like, “oh my god, these mugs! Oh my god, this book! Oh my god, this view!” We were absolutely thrilled and, though we’ve never booked an Air BnB twice, we’re already planning to come back. Thank you, Golshan, for sharing your little slice of heaven!”
StudiohousePEC is a cozy converted 1860's carriage house in the town of Wellington in Prince Edward County. Walking distance to all town amenities (Drake Devonshire, Grocery Store, Pubs, Cafe, Free beach). This is an ideal oasis in the heart of wine and beach country.
“The StudioHouse is the perfect place to stay for your next visit to the county! It was our first time visiting and we were celebrating New Year's Eve. Rebecca and Stew's place is great whether you want to get out and explore or stay in cozied up by the fire. Their place is clean, thoughtfully decorated and has all you need to make the most of your trip to PEC including restaurant and activity suggestions and complimentary tastings at a local winery. The loft bed stood out as one of the comfiest we've ever slept on and the selection of records had us dancing the night away on NYE. This spot is the perfect location to explore the area, just a short drive to Picton, Bloomfield, Hillier and Sandbanks Provincial Park. We will definitely be back, thanks again, Rebecca & Stew!”
Nestled on the shores of East Lake, Swan Cove Cottage will delight your senses. Our newly built cozy cottage, with its breath taking screened-in porch overlooking our private cove, is just minutes from the Sandbanks Provincial Park. My place is good for 2 people. The family pet is welcome if fully house trained. I would appreciate the pet not be left alone in the cottage unless in his cage. Please bring pet's bedding etc.
“Had a great time for 2 days, celebrating New Year’s at this cottage. It was clean, had everything stated on the ad and just had a great energy to the place. It was two of us and our Siberian husky puppy. Weather was blizzard snow one day and it was a great place to be! Loved it. For those that may worry about no WiFi, our phones had good reception and could stay connected that way. Having tv cable was good plus. Loved being able to run and walk with my dog on the field right in front of the cottage. Huge plus for us. The screened veranda was great. I couldn’t leave the dog out there unsupervised because she could bolt through the screens. It’s my own personal thing as she has at my mother’s house without seeing the screen in front of her haha. But the veranda itself was great. Just keep that in mind if you bring a dog that is a quick one who bolts at birds and squirrels. We just kept the puppy on leash whenever we hung there with her and it was good to have a second entrance into cottage from there as it was wet outside due to snow and rain. So we could always clean her off at the veranda. Not too far from the towns and sandbanks park. We went New Years time and even with things closing we could still manage to get food etc and get some food delivered also. This was a great place to stay at. Host was wonderful and so accommodating. I’ve stayed at some of the top hotels around the world and we can’t wait to come back to this cottage in the warmer months! Thanks so much. Look forward to next time.”
