BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Fluent cold water is available in the wagon only in the frost-free time! Horses can be brought, 1 ha. Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house & barn of the listed 3-sided courtyard are built in oak half-timbering. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees are pruned, the house can be seen in all its splendor. From May onwards, it slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and so remains wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

If you are looking for absolute peace and relaxation, this is the place to be: Look forward to a country-style renovated half-timbered house on a listed former farm with 2,000 square meter park garden, pond and old trees. The property is located in the district of Klein Apenburg with only 30 inhabitants. It is 18 km to the Hanseatic town of Salzwedel and 25 km to the climatic health resort of Arendsee. Shopping is 2 km away.

Vacation time! In our orchard there is a construction trailer... All around space and greenery. Here you can relax and feel at ease. You are very welcome! Our municipality of Gorlosen is a “quiet area” according to § 47d of the Federal Immission Control Act, which means there is no traffic, industrial, commercial and recreational noise. It's really quiet here!

Switch off and recharge in the middle of nowhere: You don't want to see anything for a few days except meadows and vastness, horizon and tall trees? My place is good for couples and families (with kids). Seedorf is a small idyllic village with 10 houses. The apartment is located on a farm - a paradise for children. The lake can be reached on foot in 2 minutes. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Pets on request.
