My holiday home in Wendland

This old barn has been transformed into an architectural experience through modern expansion. Over 250 square meters, two living areas, three closed bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. There is also a sauna. Suitable for up to two families or three couples. The location: edge of the village overlooking the fields, the circular village of Trabuhn in the beautiful Wendland. In the village there is a riding stable with riding opportunities for guests, including children. Swimming facilities in Arendsee and Gartow.

Wellness on the Elbe: Work out like in the gym, take a sauna like in Finland, cycle directly on the Elbe cycle path: Our listed half-timbered house (75–90 m², up to 5 people) has what hardly any other vacation rental offers – a private gym that can be used almost 24/7 with a leg press, cable pulley and dumbbells up to 30 kg. Afterwards: Finnish sauna, garden, starry sky. Rent bikes and canoes, enjoy the Elbe, unwind in the UNESCO biosphere reserve. Halfway between Hamburg and Berlin. Free gym for stays of 3 nights or more!

Vacation home

Welcome to our stylish holiday apartment – ideal for families, groups and friends. Completed in 2022, the accommodation offers modern living comfort across approximately 170 m². You can expect a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sofa bed for two additional guests. Space for up to 10 people. The highlight is the bright living area with a high ceiling, exposed timber frame and a glazed Tennentor window with a view of the village square.

Birken Cottage – Holidays in the Herbsthausen sawmill

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Natur Nest Nemitz – Living in a former stable

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Vacation home Neritz 10

Biologically energetically restored outbuilding in a beautiful location on the outskirts of the village, wonderful view with passing partridges, pheasants, hares and horses grazing in the distance. The terrace invites you to listen to the concert of the birds of a huge oak tree and offers enough space to enjoy the night around a fire bowl. Clay walls, wooden floors, tiles with underfloor heating and a fireplace make the house a beautiful place in any season.

Wendland with dog up to 8 people, winter sauna!

Dannenberg in the beautiful Wendland with beautiful cycling trails, forests and the nearby Elbe. Great outdoor pool nearby, good nearby shopping, sauna can be booked from September to the end of April. (€10 hour) On weekends only book both nights, no one-night booking. It's an apartment, Airbnb presents it as a tree house! Large staircase to the top, large apartment, large balcony - no shared use. For check-in, the door is open from 3 pm, the key is inside.

Elbperle, Pure Nature

Here in the Lenzerwische you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have the Elbe right in front of us. In summer, it invites you to swim or fish. In autumn and winter, it sometimes shows its power and lets the water level rise...Wildlife of all kinds are at home here, and a birdlife that will amaze you. Our Elbe Pearl is also so special because the Elbe Cycle Path runs right outside our door.

Kulturhaus Wahrenberg

Unfortunately, our farm is not suitable for excessive parties. Our house was built around 1850. The house and barn of the listed three-sided farmstead are built with oak timber framing. There are 10 wedding linden trees around the house. In November, when the lime trees have been pruned back, the house can be seen in all its splendour. From May onwards, it then slowly disappears behind shady foliage, and stays wonderfully cool throughout the summer...

The 200-square-meter, newly renovated and listed "Fohlenstall" is idyllically located in the middle of the Wendland, near the Elbe Valley Floodplain Biosphere Reserve. In a 10,000 square meter garden with old trees, the light-filled house offers plenty of space for family, groups of friends or a workation. The generous layout, lovingly selected antiques and modern design create a special atmosphere - a place to arrive, be together and relax.

Country loft in a circular village

We welcome you to the beautiful and historic Rundlingsdorf Satemin in Wendland. The former farmhouse from 1850 is divided into two residential units. The property is located in the former 110 m² commercial part and spacious tiled area. From there you have a sheltered view of the village square with the old half-timbered houses. On the lovingly planted courtyard with cobblestones there is another small stable building and a rear barn.
