We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about bringing people closer to the small and great beauties of life: by spending time for themselves, with their family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! It has a private entrance with ample parking. We welcome all races and religions. The property is easily accessible from the A3 Frankfurt - Cologne.

Welcome at "Haus Hermann" – a place for wellness & adventure with modern facilities. Enjoy the nice view and find your getaway to wind down & relax in our officially certified 5-star holiday home. The house was built in 1964 by our grandparents and was substantially renovated in 2023. Its highlights are: sauna, jacuzzi, gym, gas barbecue, diverse media & gaming offers (Smart TVs, soundbar, Nintendo Switch, Netflix, 150 TV channels, foosball table, table tennis, Darts, board games)

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

In the picturesque landscape of the Westerwald you have the ideal opportunity to unwind and unwind. With its 50m² of space, our house can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. It is modernly furnished and offers all the comforts you could imagine. Something very special are of course the hot tub and the sauna.

Spend a casual time with friends, family or two. The accommodation is comfortably equipped and very lovingly furnished. Great also the green courtyard. Pets are welcome upon request. The cozy ambiance invites you to linger and is the ideal starting point for excursions. So you can explore the Maifeld, hike the dream trails, visit Eltz Castle, participate in a wine tasting on the Moselle or take a boat trip on the Rhine.

We rent a beautiful, cozy vacation home. The vacation home is located on the grounds of the former Grube Maria directly on the edge of the forest. A little off the main building. Thanks to the high-quality amenities and some extras such as infrared cabin, wood-burning stove, sauna with outdoor shower, large terrace overlooking the forest and much more, our vacation home is the ideal place for rest and relaxation.

If you still want to go to the city for shopping or simply want to experience culture instead of nature, you will also get your money's worth thanks to the perfect connection to Cologne, Frankfurt, Koblenz, Wiesbaden, Montabaur, Limburg, etc.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
