There isn’t anything shabby about this shabby chic 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage! There is a full kitchen along with a microwave and coffee maker. All linens and towels are included. A large wall mounted TV and Sirius XM in the cottage. Also a back deck for morning coffee and relaxation! Located in the heart of Blue Hill village. Walking distance to Art gallery’s, coffee shops,Blue Hill Library, Blue Hill book store, fine dining and the town park! Also, Kneisel Hall is just a short ride where you can hear beautiful Chamber music! Take a day hike or a quick hike through Parker point trail to the local grocery store, go kayaking on Blue Hill bay or take a drive to Acadia National Park for the day. This is the perfect spot to experience Down East Maine, the way life should be! Nearby towns include Stonington, Deer Isle,Ellsworth,Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park,Castine, Camden, Brooklin Belfast, as well as many other quintessential coastal towns! We truly want Everyone to feel welcome here! Bar Harbor is a scenic 45 minute drive away. There is great hiking/xc skiing in our huge back yard (Sunrise trail/Maine reserve land) Rustic farm apartment with full kitchen. Farm veg can be bought in season, sometimes eggs& our own wine, jam, hot sauce, maple syrup. Just ask! Can accommodate 6 folks, one in a cupola! Hot shower & heat. There is a sawdust compost toilet-Easy to use & no smell! We recognize we are on unceded Wabanaki land. 🙏🏼

At night spend time by the campfire and take in the stunning night sky. Party and events are not allowed at this time due to COVID-19 policies.

A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

We have an open, airy studio apartment with a queen bed, twin bed, and twin trundle under the twin, private bathroom and full kitchen, located approximately 25 miles, or about a 40 minute drive, from Acadia National Park. Pets are welcome as we have a small fenced in area in the backyard. Bring home a lobster and cook it in the fully furnished kitchen.
