An idyllic, quaint farmhouse courtyard, close to great opportunities for outdoor activities. The house is located in a quiet location, yet a short drive from the services. Salpausselkä ski trails and mountain bike trails are just around the corner. The ski slopes, golf course, and beach of Messilä are only a few kilometers away. The house has sleeping accommodation for 5 people. The house and large yard are available for guest use. The yard has 6-person garden furniture, as well as a gas and wood grill.

A little home

The tiny home is located near the stunning Salpausselkä outdoor terrain. Lahti Ski Stadium is five kilometres away. P-H central hospital within walking distance. In summer, handy electric bikes are available for rent from nearby parking lots. Downstairs, an idyllic wooden sauna with cooling facilities. The private quiet courtyard has apple and plum trees. In summer, you can pick raspberries on top of the porridge or, when autumn comes, spin an apple pie from the yard or just lie in a hammock.

Main cottage: living room, kitchen + 3 bedrooms and toilet, total 90 m2. There is also another cottage on the plot, with 4 separate beds upstairs. Modern kitchen equipment, including a dishwasher. The sauna building has a shower, an electric sauna and a small room. Large terrace in front of the sauna, which also has a wood-fired hot tub.

Bed size 160x200 in the bedroom and sofabed 140x200 in the living room. Let us know if you are 2 persons and need bedsheets for sofabed as well. Bus stop 300m with direct bus to city center and train station. Not suitable for wheelchair, steps outside the building to the front door.

The cottage has running water and electricity, heating with radiators+pump. Large terrace and yard. Take a steam bath in the wooden sauna and cool off on the terrace while looking at the beautiful scenery to the private beach or retreat to the sofa to read. 94 km from HKI-Vantaa airport (an hour drive). 5 km to store (Orimattilan Prisma). 16 km to Lahti, the nearest big city. Babybed: extracost 35€/booking. Just ask.

Winter-inhabited CITY cottage on the shore of a lake in a quiet location in a detached house area. Neighbors next door. Stunning lake views. Wood-fired beach sauna and sauna cabin, where overnight stays are also possible in summer. Fiber optic connection, so working remotely is possible. For long periods of heat, there may be occasional blue-green algae in Kymijärvi. Pets must be agreed upon separately.

Private yard with a peaceful, nature setting – yet only 2.6 km from Lahti city center. Cozy home in a great location: travel center 2 km and harbor about 4 km. Joutjärvi lake is right nearby – swimming spot just 200 m and public beach around 500 m. Bus stop only 100 m away, and bicycles are available, making it easy to get around. The city center is also easily reachable by foot or bike.
