Data la sua posizione (casello A11), è ottimale per visitare città come Lucca, Firenze, Pisa, Montecatini, Pescia - Collodi, Pistoia, Viareggio - Torre del Lago Puccini, Pontedera (Museo Piaggio), Montecarlo, Lajatico (Bocelli), oltre a siti naturalistici come il Padule di Fucecchio e il lago di Sibolla. In Chiesina vi sono buoni ristoranti e negozi tipici.

In 15 minuti possiamo raggiungere Lucca e poco dopo Pisa e la Versilia. In 40 minuti si arriva a Firenze....e poi Siena, Poggibonsi, Volterra, San Gimignano. A 300 mt passa la Via Francigena.
