Dreamy Loft by the Opera Theater

I was for a long time a war correspondent and, in my journeys, I always made a point of bringing back a book, a carpet, a stone, a painting, a fragment of memory so that the world may live in my Roman home. The flat is available for brief stays but also for longer periods. Being less than a block away from the Opera Theatre, it could be the perfect base for singers and musicians. Giuseppe stayed here and this is what he had to say: "The flat is in a quiet street, off Monti. When you enter, it's all very charming. It's not a regular "B&B" experience, it's the flat of a woman who travels a lot for work. The result is very stylish and warm and full of wonderful details. We stayed here for ten days and we really felt at home." The entire 70 square meters loft is at your disposal. The loft has two areas, the living area and the sleeping area. The property is located within walking distance of both the main train station, Termini, and the splendor of the Colosseum. It's a great base for a musician, a writer, or an artist keen to explore the ancient beauty of the Eternal City. Were you not inclined to walk, the loft is located between the two main metro lines - A and B - that take you to most of the sightseeing. There is plenty of silence and light. The light is important, I believe and the silence as well. The loft is on the 6th floor, with the elevator. The property is located within walking distance of both the main train station, Termini, and the splendor of the Colosseum. It's a great base for a musician, a writer, or an artist keen to explore the ancient beauty of the Eternal City.

Elegant apartment near the Colosseum

Relive the history of the Eternal City by staying in an ancient 16th-century palace built by a cardinal just steps from the Imperial Forums. The rooms are spacious, cozy, tastefully furnished and many pieces of modernity and design. The flat's warm and casually elegant atmosphere is in a unique location in front of the Imperial Forums and two minutes walk from the Colosseum,it's everything very easy to reach!The flat is composed of two wide rooms, in the living room there are a queen size sofa bed, a 50es dining table and a new fully equipped kitchenette. In the bedroom there is a king size bed with a double wardrobe and an easy writing desk. The bathroom is in the bedroom, so it would be much easier for a couple to share the apartment with a family member than a friend. The apartment is at the second floor without elevator. You will be hosted in a two rooms flat with bathroom and kitchenette. It is always a pleasure for me to meet new people, i'll be reachable by message whenever my guests need infos or help,I will be glad to help them in their wandering around my city. The apartment is located in the heart of the Monti neighborhood, a meeting place for the Romans with its many restaurants, trendy shops and craft shops. The streets and alleys are those of ancient Suburra, where the people of ancient Rome lived. Two subway stops are few minutes steps from the apartment: Cavour and Colosseo. Many buses going in every directions of the city stops in the two closest main streets: Via dei Fori Imperiali and Via Cavour. Via del Colosseo is truly very well connected!!! If you are arriving from Termini Station you will take the subway/metro B direction Laurentina and you will step down to Colosseo stop.

Termini train station is about 1 km walking distance from the apartment which is easy to reach by taking bus line 64 - 70 - 170. By foot it will take around 15' to reach the railway.

The large terrace offers pleasant moments of relaxation, a good wine, a good coffee at any time of the day, thanks to the pergola that protects from the sun and the light that allows you to enjoy the terrace even in the evening. The apartment has just been renovated with parquet in the bedrooms, an equipped kitchen and brand new furniture. The bedrooms can be both double or one double and the other with two single beds, as needed. A crib for small children is also provided upon request. Guests will have access to the entire apartment. We will be at your disposal for your every need or even just if you need advice on where to go to eat or what to do in the evening Via delle Fornaci is right in front of the Colonnade of St. Peter's, a 5-minute walk away. The area offers various services, including numerous bars and restaurants. Right in front of the apartment door is the stop for bus number 64, which goes directly from St. Peter's Square to Termini station, passing through the Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia. At about 300 meters, about 10 minutes, you reach the San Pietro train station.
