It is about a 10-minute drive to Arakawa and Iwabata, where you can descend the Nagatoro Line. It is dotted with historic temples, so it is recommended to visit the power spots. You can actively move your body with paragliding, kayaking, rafting, and SUP experiences, or rent a bicycle and take a leisurely ride through the town. Nagatoro has many delicious udon and soba shops. Harvesting chestnuts, grapes, Nagatoro strawberries, and more is also fun. If you're lucky, you'll see an SL train running on the Chichibu Railway, which runs parallel to the national highway! A 50-second walk from the log house, about 90 steps to the trampoline park (reservation required) where you can play with your children to your heart's content, and have an early BBQ dinner in the garden. About the building This cabin was built in 1999 as a cow house management building, and was renovated in 5 years after 30 years. The use of plenty of logs over 50 years old is heavy, and after many years, it still praises the scent of the trees and heals the hearts of those who visit. The harp bridge, famous as the symbol of Chichibu, rises above the building, and is beautifully lit up due to the time of year. There is a mews park nearby where you can enjoy cycling, walking, go-karting, and tennis. The adjacent partner facility, the cafe of Chichibu Farm Stay, offers sweets and drinks using ingredients from the garden.(Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 16:00) We also accept fruit trees and vegetable harvesting experiences.
