This is a private rental accommodation in a renovated 45-year-old wooden house located in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. We are renovating it to make it comfortable for modern people to use, while maintaining the good points of an old house. It features a space where old and new materials coexist and you can feel the natural environment, including the garden. Even large groups can use it comfortably. We hope you can relax and use it as a base for sightseeing in Hokuriku and climbing the Northern Alps. There is a monitor, so it is also recommended for workations. We also have a range of appliances, cooking utensils, and seasonings. This is a renovated 120-year-old private house built in the traditional streets (Yamamachi-suji) of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.It is located about a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station, with good transport access to Toyama, Kanazawa, Amasaki Kaigan, Himi, Tonami, and Shiodoshi.If you have a car, you can also easily access Noto, the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, the Kurobe Tateyama Alpine Route, and sightseeing in Takayama. It is not only located in Yamaichisuji, but can also be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, such as the foundry town of Kanyamachi (10-minute walk), Takaoka Great Buddha (10-minute walk), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15-minute walk), and the national treasure Zuiyuji Temple (25-minute walk). The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.
