Historic peat hut on the lake

Just a 20-minute drive from Amsterdam, you will find yourself completely in nature, on an island in the Vinkeveense Plassen. This cabin is the only peat hut still standing on the peat peat sign time. The peat steamers put the peat to dry in this cabin and stayed there as well. During WWII, the resistance stayed in this cabin and after WWII the cabin also served as a "church" for the fishermen who went to the wrong there. In the peat hut it is possible to stay up to 6 people

And upstairs are three more bedrooms with bathrooms including bath, shower and even a bidet. The sweetest cat in the Netherlands, "Poestin", also lives here.
