Naruko Onsenkyo is a very rare hot spring area where 9 of the 11 spring qualities found in Japan are gathered. It has been used as a hot spring resort since ancient times and is loved by people for its benefits in recovering from illness, injury, and fatigue. The spring quality is smooth, slightly alkaline, with a faint sulfur scent.(Calcium-sodium-nitrate spring, hypotonic alkaline high-temperature hot spring) Indications include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, peripheral circulation disorders (cold sensitivity), dry skin, and various stress-related symptoms. Yasemi is located in a quiet villa area, and it is crowded with tourists during the cherry blossoms in spring, the greenery in early summer, and the autumn leaves in Naruko Gorge.Onijuku Ski Resort is nearby. Many people who have experienced the benefits of the hot spring have become repeat guests, and we received many requests to stay, so we opened in 2023.

We accept reservations for one group per day. The maximum number of people who can stay here is 10 people. It is often used as a base for Tohoku trips by classmates, company colleagues, and multiple families. Please relax in the spacious space. Of course, even one person can stay privately. Please let us know by message at the time of booking, as children under 12 years old will be charged a reduced rate of 3,300 yen (tax included) per person per day. We will change the amount after the discount. In addition, as a discount for consecutive nights, guests who stay 3 nights or more at the adult rate will receive a discount of 500 yen per person per day from the 3rd night. Enjoy a timeless stay at this inn surrounded by the garden of the Minabe family, lords of the Morioka Domain (now the Morioka Chuo Community Center Garden), and the Nakatsugawa River, an iconic symbol of Morioka that has flowed through the heart of the castle town since the Edo period. The strolling garden across the street, just a 1-minute walk away, is said to have been called the “Oyakuen” because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located right in front of it, this house displays a sign that reads “Oyakuenmae,” and began offering private lodging in April 2026. Taking advantage of the 50-year-old building, we have renovated it into a space that honors the past while creating something new. Based on the concept of providing a home away from home where you can enjoy Iwate as if you lived here and want to come back again and again, we will do our utmost to make your stay a truly heartwarming experience.
