Log cabin on the shore of a quiet lake

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the lake shore. The cottage, hand-carved from thick logs, exudes peace. The cottage has a high-ceilinged living room, a wood-burning fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wooden sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered veranda and a separate outdoor shower for cooling off after the sauna. In summer, a special feature of the place is the tinkling of cowbells in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd comes to the beach to drink.

Cottage by the lake

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Rentoudu ja nauti luonnonrauhasta! Järvenrannalla sijaitseva kaksikerroksinen hirsimökki. Mökissä hyvin varusteltu tupakeittiö sekä apukeittiö. Tiskikone, pyykinpesukone ja kuivauskaappi. Alakerran makuuhuoneessa parisänky ja yläkerran huoneissa sängyt neljälle. Sisällä wc. Mökin yhteydessä puusauna, suihkuhuone ja wc. Lämmin vesi. Pihassa kaasugrilli, sähkösavustin ja muurikkapannu. Rannassa laituri, soutuvene ja kanootti.Erikseen vuokrattavana myös SUP lauta ja veneeseen sähkömoottori.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Saimaa Syli - for peace lovers

Kun kaipaat täydellistä irtautumista arjesta täällä se onnistuu ja arkiset asiat saa uuden merkityksen. Sähkötön mökki antaa mahdollisuuden olla läsnä tässä ja nyt. Erillinen kesäkeittiö kallion päällä huikein maisemin. Kaasuliesi ja grilli käytössä. Kantovesi. Aitassa sänky yhdelle. Saunatuvassa parvi ja levitettävä vuodesohva. Käytössäsi myös soutuvene ja sublauta. Palju lämpiää erillisestä maksusta. Rannassa nuotiopaikka. Tässä kohteessa on paljon portaita, ei sovellu lapsiperheille.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

Mini-house on the shore of Lake Saimaa

You will always remember the rugged landscape of this destination. The property is located near Kolovesi National Park on the shores of Saimaa Pyyvesi. The property has stunning views, but it is only about 300 meters from the paved country road. There are neighbors on the property. The mini-house was completed in 2025 and the sauna in the adjacent building dates back to 2024. The accommodation is ideal for those interested in hiking, cycling, fishing and paddling.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.
