The train station is a 10 min walk away, so you are within 20 minutes in Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans 15 minutes. The Strand, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful accommodation!

My cozily furnished house with furniture from India is in a quiet street with no cars. The front is by the water, where you can spot ducks, birds and herons. At the back you have a view of the greenery and you are very quiet. It is also suitable as a retreat & artist house as you sit quietly and yet very close to the shops & people if you want to look that up. It's like a "nature cottage", but in a urban area. The energy of the house is calming.
