At the Hirtenturm, built in 1397, on the source of the Ahr

Immerse yourself in the Middle Ages. This house was first mentioned in 1397, making it the oldest house in Blankenheim. This house is located right next to the Hirtenturm, only 3.5 meters wide at the front, in an alley below the Blankenheim Castle. At the back, with a width of around 12 meters, the building is not located on the Ahr, but on the Ahr spring that rises below the cellar. At night it is absolutely quiet, with the windows open you can hear the splashing of the Ahr spring.

Relax with the whole family in this spacious and nature-friendly home. The house is renovated and is located in the beautiful North Eifel, in Aremberg. Two bedrooms with double beds, a children's room with sofa bed, a spacious kitchen-living room, living room, bathroom with shower and guest toilet are included. The house can accommodate up to 6 people. If necessary, we can offer 2 more beds with a private entrance and bathroom. The journey time to the ring is about 20 minutes.
