Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few never destroyed castles of the Middle Rhine Valley, where the building fabric is actually centuries old. We have carefully renovated the parlor of the gatekeeper, about 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

The cozy holiday apartment in the old Hunsrück farmhouse is a good starting point for hiking on the most beautiful paths in Rhineland-Palatinate typical natural landscapes: walk on enchanted paths in the "Hahnenbachtal" to the mighty "Schmidtburg" and restored Celtic settlement "Altburg" or on the "Soonwald-Steig" . A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Vacation home with sauna in Hasselbach in the Hunsrück

The vacation rental is located in the village of Hasselbach in the Hunsrück, between the Moselle and the Rhine. A large lawn with fireplace / table tennis table is part of the area, a children's playground is only about 100 m away. Both families with children and hikers will find happiness here! Pets by request! In the apartment there is a sauna. A sufficiently large parking lot is available to guests.

In der 100 qm großen Ferienwohnung soll man sich sofort zuhause fühlen und die unglaublichen Ausblicke auf den berühmten Malerwinkel, die Stadtmauer mit dem Liebesturm und die Burg Stahleck genießen. Mehr Mittelrheinromantik geht nicht.

Cozy seating areas await you in our small courtyard. Our house can be a wonderful place for a family/friends gathering. From here you can hike the Rheinsteig, take boat tours or start with the Rhine Valley Railway to Frankfurt or Koblenz.

Access is from the car park through the garden via an external staircase. On sunny days, the small balcony and garden invites you to linger outdoors or for a leisurely barbecue.

Our cheerfully furnished apartment is located about 2 km outside Bornich, about 5 km from the Loreley. It is about 100 m² and is spread over 2 floors.
