Our flat was renovated in March 2013. You can expect a bright and modern living room with space for up to three people. The kitchenette is equipped with a dish-washer, stove, coffee/espresso maker, micro-wave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The bed room is on the first floor and offers a cozy double bed as well as a flat-screen TV with DVD-player. There is also a private terrace attached to the flat, with sunlight for almost the entire day as well as a garden. The house is built entirely of native wood and offers a particularly healthy living comfort. About Oberammergau: The small town of Oberammergau is located in the Bavarian Alps. It hosts the famous Oberammergau Passion Play every ten years. Much of its charme is due to the village's historical colourful houses ('Lüftlmalerei'). But Oberammergau is also an active community: a cinema, a theatre, a few museums and a variety of cafés and restaurants make Oberammergau a nice place to live. You can also easily reach the famous castles of Linderhof and Neuschwanstein (by car it will take you 15 or 45 min respectively to reach the castles). The Ettal Abbey is about 2 miles/4 km from Oberammergau, and you can walk or cycle there. In the winter, the Bavarian Alps are a skiing region. Oberammergau offers ski lifts for amateurs and pros alike. Garmisch-Partenkirchen (20 min by car) is Germany's largest ski ressort. We are member of the Königscard initiative, which means that you will be able to use the swimming pools, ski lifts, museums and many other activities (including boat tours, guided tours in the snow, theatre plays...) in Oberammergau and the entire region (Tirol, Ammergauer Alpen, Blaues Land, Allgäu) for free! There is more information available on the Königscard website which you can easily find with a search engine. This is a great offer for anyone who would like to make the most of their holiday and is entirely for free for you!

Waldeck vacation rental at the foot of the Zugspitze, 1-room apartment.

We are happy to welcome you as guests in our 1-room apartment on the edge of the forest. The small apartment Waldeck has a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining area with TV, a 1.80 m wide box spring bed and a shower with toilet. WiFi can be used free of charge. The house entrance is at ground level, then you go down a staircase. The apartment, with an 18 sqm terrace and seating furniture, is then also at ground level, as our house is located on the slope. The tourist tax is added to the final price.

Many shops including grocery stores, tourism information, train station and the Passionplay theatre can be reached comfortably by foot. Very quiet, cozy and stylish apartment on the creek. Old building with wooden and stone floors. New bathroom and new kitchen. A mixture of old and new garnished with a lot of art and culture. In the summer you can relax on the partly covered terrace or in the garden in the sun lounger. The garden is more than half natural, with orchids, other wild flowers and grasses. In the cold season, you will be greeted with roaring fire in the fireplace and supplied with firewood

Our loft is centrally located between the center of Oberammergau and the Laber mountain railway, on a small stream, the Laine. Both destinations are only about 7 minutes' walk away. The 2 balconies face east and southwest, so you can find a sunny spot with stunning views of the surrounding mountains at any time of the day to relax. Your car will appreciate a cool spot in summer and an ice-free spot in winter in our underground garage. We wish you relaxing days!
