The village location is close to 3 gastro pubs & some of the best bird watching in the country just a 10min walk from the wetlands of Oare marshes, and the Swale estuary with Harty ferry costal paths.

Seasalter & Whitstable Beaches are also just a 10-15 minute drive away. During the week the local bus runs into both Whitstable & Faversham and Taxis are readily available from either town.
