The Playhouse

The house, located in a characteristic mountain village in the Nus hills, a short distance from Aosta, will allow you to spend a vacation immersed in the tranquility of nature. We are located in the Saint-Barthélemy valley, not far from the astronomical observatory and its ski area with 30 km of cross-country ski slopes and itineraries on foot, by bike or with snowshoes. The location in the center of the Valley is also ideal for those who want to visit the towns and monuments that the region offers.

La Casetta del Merlo is a bright 50 m2 attic with a private entrance, newly renovated, with a view of the roofs and mountains. We are in the quiet village of Nus, a few steps from all the services that the town offers: convenient free parking, means of transport, shops, pizzerias, a delicious pastry shop and a renowned restaurant. Charming cozy cabin with amazing view

Alps Mountains. Italy. Aosta Valley. A cabin in a small village at 1600 meters,in the peace of meadows, grazing cows and mountains. Snow (usually) in the winter. A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

Il villaggio di montagna che ospita la struttura è piccolo e caratteristico, immerso nella natura e vicino alle piste di sci di fondo. Da qui partono i sentieri collegati all’Alta Via e percorsi per MTB. A soli 15 minuti a piedi ci sono l’Osservatorio Astronomico e il Planetario.

In the upper Valtournenche, at the foot of the Matterhorn, surrounded by herds of grazing cows in summer and white snow in the winter months, my wife Enrica and I will be happy to welcome our guests to our apartment. Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!
