Caravan, Gravdal Vestvågøy

Camper on property in the middle of Lofoten! The perfect starting point for visiting all of Lofoten without long stretches. (The caravan was replaced in 2022, so reviews before 2023 apply to an older caravan with fewer amenities and lower comfort) It is 7 miles to Svolvær, 6 miles to Reine, about 2 miles to the surf beach Unstad, and 8km to the fishing village Ballstad. There is good opportunity to be able to participate in the famous Lofoten fishing/winter fishing, and also fishing trips in the summer.

To let go of everyday life, put down the cell phone and let yourself be spoiled by what is around. Light a fire, paddle a canoe, look out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed, where even the beavers can swim by sometimes, brew coffee and cook over an open fire. Høyseth is a hidden gem located in the far end of Stardalen valley at the gateway to Jostadal glacier national park. Rent one of our simple and charming cabins that sleep 2-6 persons, put up your tent or park your caravan in the heart of West-Norwegian nature. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Come and experience amazing nature!

Here you can take one step out of the caravan and see the gorgeous northern lights when the weather permits, and sit outside by the fire under the Northern Lights dance in the sky. The caravan is equipped with central heating and underfloor heating, which ensures it stays warm and comfortable even in the winter. We have a cat and a dog on the farm who loves cuddles

Ligger 250 meter fra Radisson hotell og skiheisene. 4-500 meter til sykkel -og klatrepark. Det er 9-10 soveplasser m puter og dyner til 5 personer (kan ev ordnes noen fler puter og dyner). Det finnes veldig fine dusjer og bastu på campingområdet som er gratis.

Possibility of extra bed NOK 200.- A kitchen with a fridge and cooking equipment is available in the jetty. The tents are positioned so that they have a view of the sunset in the west (see photos). We have kayaks and boats for hire. Floating sauna. NB this is Rangsundøya 81 96 Selsøyvik 25 min by boat from Rødøya.
