På vår, sommer og høst er det vei helt frem til hytta. Hytta ligger i en trivelig setergrend med flotte turstier rett i nærheten og med kort vei til Hafjell (2 km å kjøre til Gaiastova som er nærmeste utgangspunkt for alpint). På vintertid må man gå ca. 250 meter på ski eller truger fra en gratis parkeringsplass.

The area also offers exciting activities such as dog sledding (Sjusjøen Huskey Tours).
