The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. With the forest close and big green areas, a lake, ponds and the stream, you can enjoy nature right from your doorstep and have lots of space for different activities, such as swimming, hiking, fishing. And within kilometers you have more lakes and the cozy small town of Sala with its good supply of restaurants, nature areas and shopping.

Cross-country skiing in Norberg (30 min), Smedjebacken (10 min) and Ljungåsen (45 min). Alpine skiing Uvbergsbacken in Smedjebacken and 45 minutes to Romme Alpin. In summer, there are many lakes for swimming, fishing and paddling. There are nice gravel roads and trails for mountain biking.

Därtill i ett lugnt och enskilt läge med en stor trädgård och promenadvänliga grusvägar. Huset utgör flygelbyggnad till det större huset som i dag är obebott vilket ger er ett ostört boende. Du kan enkelt ta dig hit med Uppsala läns regionbuss 225 mellan Heby och Enköping med en hållplats 200 m från boendet.

Here you live in a cozy timber house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.

Welcome to our guest house. The cottage is located on our farm with nature around the corner, in the middle of a historic environment, eight minutes by car from the city center and with off-road trails for hiking, running or MTB biking outside the door. In the yard, besides us, there is a dog and two cats. In summer, there is a trampoline, board games in the garden and a small barbecue and patio in a pergola.
