Rent our rowboat and fish in Åmänningen, there are plenty of zander and perch here. The coffee tastes best barefoot on the jetty. In the evening, fire and evening sun await. Electricity is available – but no running water. Simple, beautiful and authentic. 2 hours from Stockholm. Walking distance from the train. The cottage is located in historic Ängelsberg with restaurants & attractions.

Charming valley cottage for two or a small family

Cozy, older timber house of 21 sqm with all the amenities. The house is situated high up overlooking the Barkensjöarna. The plot is clearly demarcated by its elevation towards the next house, which is a permanent residence. As is customary in Dalarna, the house is on plinths and is only used for summer accommodation, the house is suitable for a couple or small family. Private patio with sun loungers and barbecue. Pets are welcome. Close to various swimming areas. Nice hiking trails and the opportunity to kayak, fish or bike.

Welcome to this cozy cottage at the edge of Dalälven, 5 km outside Hedemora. Grill on the patio, sauna and take a swim from your own jetty. Indoors, there is a modern kitchen, toilet with shower, fireplace, TV and WiFi. The sauna is wood-fired and the plot basks in the sun in the mornings, sun all the way into the afternoon down on the dock. Firewood and canoe are available for a fee. If you get tired of the peace and quiet, you can go to Västerås' largest shopping center in 40 minutes.

Cross-country skiing in Norberg (30 min), Smedjebacken (10 min) and Ljungåsen (45 min). Alpine skiing Uvbergsbacken in Smedjebacken and 45 minutes to Romme Alpin. In summer, there are many lakes for swimming, fishing and paddling. There are nice gravel roads and trails for mountain biking.

Välkommen att känna lugnet och harmonin i denna naturnära, vackra miljön precis i utkanten av stan, endast 3 km in till Avesta centrum där restauranger och shoppingcenter finns. Stugan ligger på vår gård och en värd finns därmed ofta till hands.

In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
