Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

The painted House, bed & breakfast

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Breakfast and/or eveningmeals are an extra option, but cost are not included. Groningen is a 15km bikeride. At 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

The covered terrace invites you to be outside a lot and listen to the sounds of the forest, and see the birds and squirrels that visit us. You are in the middle of the forest and yet the village of Norg is only a ten-minute walk away, take a walk or use the rental bikes to explore the area.

At the edge of one of the largest nature reserves where you can walk or cycle in the Fochteloërveen, on the border of Friesland and Drenthe. Discover cranes in the vast nature. In this peaceful, stylish but luxurious summer house with 2 bedrooms directly on the lake, you can relax and unwind. The surrounding area has everything people desire from shopping in surrounding places to discovering unique restaurants. The house is located and has a lake terrace.

This location is the ideal base to go hiking or cycling in the head of Drenthe or towards Appelscha. You can park your car under the carport and the bikes can be placed in a lockable barn. This is the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature.
