Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about bringing people closer to the small and great beauties of life: by spending time for themselves, with their family or simply in nature. Beautiful old building apartment in historic mill

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Beautiful bright apartment in rural idyll. If you are looking for a place to refuel, like hiking or biking, this is the place for you. It is also an ideal location for motorcyclists. In the village, there is a bakery and a butcher to cover for breakfast. The nearest town of Rennerod is a 10-minute drive away. There are also numerous discount stores and supermarkets. In the spa town of Bad Marienberg, 6.4 km away, you can swim or go for a sauna in bad weather.

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Enjoy our apartment in this quiet and centrally located place with direct access to nature on the Rothaarsteig, whether for hiking or biking. Shopping, pharmacy, restaurant, bus and train station are within walking distance. Baby crib available on request. A washing machine and dryer are also available on request for a fee. For longer stays (from 28 days), intermediate cleaning is required. The fee will be charged on site.

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.
