Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Our half-timbered house, completely renovated in 2020, is part of a larger half-timbered ensemble. It combines historic flair with a modern ambiance. The overall high-quality facilities leave nothing to be desired. Our village of Geilhausen is scenically nestled on the upper Sieg and has its own train connection. The banks of the Sieg, the forests and heights of the Westerwald and the Bergisches Land invite you to hike and cycle via the Sieg and Westerwald nature trails.

For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 sqm with private bathroom), but it is also great to just snuggle in for a weekend. You need a car here! It is 8 minutes to the nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as to shops Edeka/ Penny 8 minutes, the nearest Lidl /Aldi / Rewe/ DM is 12 minutes away Bonn 45 - 60 min Cologne Bonn Airport 45 min Cologne 1 h - 1.5 h

Our apartment is located directly on the forest in the beautiful landscape of the WESTERWALDS. Close to Obererbach is the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other attractive hiking, cycling and motorcycle routes, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. In the village, within walking distance is the Obererbach train connection (one stop to the center). You can reach the nearest shops by car in about 3.5 km.
