Natural materials such as sheep's wool, lime putty, clay and wood contribute to the cozy, stylish atmosphere. On cold days, the wood-fired hypocaust heating radiates a cozy warmth, and on warm days the large, old linden tree provides cool shade on the courtyard.

The farmhouse is secluded in a small hamlet but nevertheless close to the cantonal road and not far from the larger towns of Tramelan and St. Imier. Arriving by car is recommended, although there is a bus stop nearby but with a thin schedule.
