Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of miles of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wood ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The surroundings are very suitable for hiking, biking, canoe.

B&B The old meule - the mill

"The old meule" was built in 1877, which we have made into a cozy bed and breakfast. Completely in style, equipped with kitchen incl. oven, induction cooking plate, fridge and dishwasher, 3 bedrooms ( 1 equipped with sink and circulation of the mill), shower incl. rain shower, separate toilet, smart TV and WiFi available. At the back space to sit and barbecue. Also there is a private free parking space. A delicious full breakfast is included.

In our lodging 't Veldkuikentje, you can optimally enjoy your stay in the countryside between Apeldoorn and Teuge. 't Veldkuikentje offers space for 1-6 people as a B&B/Vacation house. Our cozy, characteristic back house with an area of no less than 120m2 is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1862. It has a private entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a beautiful large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a magnificent wide view over the meadows behind.
