Wonderful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the second floor, has a beautiful view over the countryside, is directly on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway you will reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box-spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with next to it the spacious bathroom. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Loft in old Fire Station van Wijk aan Zee

Come and spend the night at the old Wilhelmina School from 1884. In a quiet street lies our building, which was once built as a school, when it acted as a fire station and where we are now allowed to live. This third classroom has been refurbished with a lot of love and patience and has now been transformed into a cozy Loft of 70m2. Because the space has an open staircase and rather open balustrade, the apartment is not suitable for small children. Kids from 7 years are welcome.
