Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Enjoy Takayama's history to the fullest in an excellent location. <Building and Hida master carpenters> Built 145 years ago by a master craftsman from Hida, this building has been revived here by modern craftsmen. Limited to one group per day, Mökki is a small cottage with a garden by a stream

Mökki means 'cottage' in the Nordic language of Finnish. Please enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-machi, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. Nearby are the natural wonders of the Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi. You are free to use the entire property, including the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden with its seasonal scenery, and the forest with its flowing stream.In the forest, which has been well maintained, you can see birds, squirrels and martens, and you can enjoy walks looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We have also paid close attention to the interior design of the rooms and the kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy 'living'. In the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or a bonfire without worrying about the weather. It's ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding and golf during the green season, and for winter sports during the snow season. Townhouse along the old Hokuriku Kaido, private guest house

A private guest house in the seaside town of Namigawa. A calm, retro-looking space along the old Hokuriku Kaido. Across the road, the nationally registered tangible cultural property "Ichihara Shrine" sits quietly. Relax in a quiet townhouse that is a renovated old private house. As for the location, you can walk to the coast in 1 minute and enjoy the beautiful view of Toyama Bay and the majestic Tateyama mountain range, which is over 3000 meters high. Firefly squid sightseeing in early spring is also famous. The nearest station is an 8-minute walk to Nameri Station (Ainokaze Railway, Toyama Railway), and 9 minutes by car to the Nameri Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, with good access to Toyama Prefecture, Hokuriku, and the surrounding Gifu, Nagano, and Niigata prefectures. Accommodates up to 8 people. Nearby, there are fish shops and taverns where you can eat delicious fish from Toyama Bay, a natural fish tank, at affordable prices, as well as unique cafes and sweet shops. Public baths such as the Showa hidden hot spring "Shioyu", famous for its high temperature, and "Airabuyu", where you can enjoy deep ocean water, are also within walking distance.

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Garden House Mako LAND

The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

Wakuku, a detached house on a hill in Owarano, Yao-cho, Toyama Prefecture. Meals available (extra charge).

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Guests can optionally have breakfast, dinner, etc. (breakfast 1,000 yen, dinner from 2,000 yen. Please ask). Features of this inn include songs and saxophone performances by the owner couple, a wood stove experience, a barbecue in the garden, and calligraphy lessons (extra charge).
