Entire old house for rent, close to Lake Tateshina and Lake Suwa by car, near a golf course, convenience store and laundry a 1-minute walk away

Limited to one group per day, available for 2 to 6 people. We are renovating a 100-year-old traditional house. There is a Yumichi Morning Cafe on site, and if you book at least the day before, you can eat for 1,300 yen (including consumption tax). It is 1,500 yen with a drink. We are closed in winter. Nearby, about 10 minutes by car, there is Mitsui's Forest, Tateshina Country, and Tateshina Tokyu Golf Course. Fujimi Panorama, Royal Hill, and Twin One Ski Resort are about 20 minutes away by car. It is also an ideal base for climbing at the foot of Yatsugatake. There is also a 7-Eleven, coin laundry and restaurant within a 1-minute walk. JA Pia Midori Supermarket is a 2-minute drive away. Hot springs nearby include Jomon-no-Yu and Shiokama-no-Yu. It is refreshing because of its location at an altitude of 1000 m. The host is always available, so please ask if you have any questions. You can also walk to the bus stop. Kayano Station is a 10-minute drive. Suwa Interchange is 9.4 km and 15 minutes away by car. It is very convenient, but it is comfortable like returning to a peaceful country house. We will reduce the price for 5 or more people. Please ask me about any of these services. We can provide the same rate for 6 or more people.

Experience living in an old private house with the host Old private house Amane / Goemon bath / Japanese original landscape / Breakfast included / Limited to 1 group per day

At the foot of Mt. Insect Kura, at an altitude of 800 meters, rice terraces, and tin roofs, there is an old house in a small village with nostalgic scenery right in front of you. It was built in the late Edo period, and it was opened in the early Meiji period.I have relocated since I liked the presence, settlement, and location of the house itself, including the thick pillar, and since then I've built up self renovation.It is constructed using old wood to preserve the historical texture. The floorboards are reuse of chestnut wood and rice shelves laying under the tatami mats.The paved stone from the garden is a Goemon bath, and the warehouse used in Nagaya Gate is reused at the entrance. I only use a fan in summer.On the other hand, I think there is a creaky wind in the winter and it feels very cold, but it is also one of the things that I would like to experience is the creative way to live a little warm, such as a self-built ondol (floor heating) and a Goemon bath. Experience living in an old private house with the host, Amame. We recommend a longer stay where you can surrender to nature and enjoy the simplicity of everyday life. Chestnut Hut

One group per day mountain homestay at 950m on the slopes of Mt. Hijiri, ideal for hiking. Surrounded by beautiful seasonal nature and mountain views. Breakfast comes with homemade jam, fresh eggs from our chickens, and freshly baked bread loved by guests. We live here with a goat, two dogs, and chickens. Conversation happens naturally if guests wish, and privacy is respected. A peaceful base for exploring Nagano by day and quiet mountain evenings. Optional irori dinner. Station pickup included.

Private Onsen | Japanese Wooden Bath | Garden

Azumino Hotaka Another House is a private retreat for one group per day, in a quiet villa area at the foot of the Northern Alps. Soak in a Kiso hinoki wooden bath with flowing natural hot spring water from Nakabusa Valley. From late summer, enjoy evening higurashi cicadas, chestnut picking, and autumn colors in the garden. In cooler months, relax by the Italian pellet stove with specialty coffee or local herbal tea. Freshly grated wasabi at breakfast offers an authentic taste of Azumino.
