Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine is next to the waterfall, so you can feel the grandeur of nature in a majestic atmosphere. In addition, Daimon-zaka, Seiganto-ji Temple, Sanju no Tower, Fudarasan-ji Temple, Whale Museum, Kinoshima Tour, Dolphin Base, etc. are full of sightseeing spots. Convenience stores are a 3-minute walk away, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, Katsuura Onsen, and Yukawa Onsen within a 10-minute drive, making it a very convenient location. There are no houses around and it's quiet. Recommended for those who value privacy! It is about a 10-minute drive to Hongu Taisha Shrine and about a 5-minute drive to Kumano Kodo Ukekawa and Kawayu Onsen, making it a perfect base for a trip to Kumano. In front of the house, you can enjoy playing in the river, barbecues, bonfires, insect collecting, bird watching, stargazing, mountain walking, and more. We also provide a kitchen and barbecue grill, so please bring only the ingredients. Relax with family and friends at this peaceful place to stay.

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
