Limited to one group per day, Mökki is a small cottage with a garden by a stream
Mökki means 'cottage' in the Nordic language of Finnish. Please enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-machi, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. Nearby are the natural wonders of the Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi. You are free to use the entire property, including the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden with its seasonal scenery, and the forest with its flowing stream. In the forest, which has been well maintained, you can see birds, squirrels and martens, and you can enjoy walks looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We have also paid close attention to the interior design of the rooms and the kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy 'living'. In the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or a bonfire without worrying about the weather. It's ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding and golf during the green season, and for winter sports during the snow season. We also offer complimentary celebration cakes for guests celebrating birthdays or anniversaries. Please check with me in advanced.

Limited to one group per day: A detached house with a private sauna where you can enjoy the stunning view of Mt Kurohime, Kurohime Kaitaku Campsite, BBQ
[Open July 2023] Crohimekaitaku is a luxurious house overlooking the beautiful scenery woven by Mt. Kurohime. Enjoy a blissful moment surrounded by nature in a comfortable silence. It is located about a 10-minute drive from Shinano-machi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, with excellent access by car. As a base for sightseeing in all seasons! 15-20 minutes by car to Togakushi, Iinuma, Kurohime, Madarao, and Myoko. In an area with famous powder snow ski resorts, you can easily enjoy winter sports in the winter. Well maintained! The private sauna is equipped with a Finnish wood-burning sauna stove. You can also enjoy a self-lowering bath. Enjoy a luxurious sauna time and forest bathing in a water bath with a magnificent view of Mt. Kurohime. You can enjoy the comfort of warmth and refreshment at the same time. It has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 people. We also have a bathroom, toilet, air conditioner, washing machine, and dryer, so you can stay with peace of mind even for consecutive nights. For winter heating, there is a pellet stove, so please relax and enjoy.

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)
This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
